Hi This is a subject of much debate on the forums, so I am wondering, how many people would like to see guests from TV Crime shows? I mean guests from shows like all of the CSI shows, NCIS, Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, Burn Notice, Hawaii Five-O, Castle, etc etc. Thanks for reading this!

How about Andrew Scott (Moriarty in Sherlock)?

GUEST DAYS AND PRICES - Update june 29th
Flibble replied to showmasters's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2012
Oh..lots of guests are going to be there on Friday. That will be really handy. Thanks Showmasters! -
Any chance that you might take a gamble on a guest from a crime show? I'm thinking of the CSI shows, NCIS, NCIS:LA, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five - O, etc etc? I know that you don't have guests from these types of shows, but maybe you could get a guest from one of these shows to see how popular they might be?

Yikes! That was tough!

So envious of you all, as I won't be able to attend. Look forward to reading all of your reports though.

Flibble replied to showmasters's topic in Entertainment Media Show
Noooooo.....I am SO jealous of everyone who is going, as I will be out of the country when the event is happening, and I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, and I'm going to miss David and all of the other great guests. -
Oh, yet another new page and time for my normal begging post for Connor Trinneer.

That's great news. I remember going to these events in the 1980's and 90's. -
Another new page...time to mention Connor Trinneer again!

Still hoping for Connor Trinneer!

Thank you everyone. You have saved me from being very embarrassed indeed!

Thanks for that, I'll pass it on to my friend to see if she can recognise him from that!

Did anyone take any photos of Jessie that might have included this guy in the background? Thank you

How do you feel the "special" photoshoots went ?

I got the John Leeson shot. They put K9 on a table with you on one side and John Leeson on the other. It was a good shot. -
Hi Does anyone know the name of the guy who was sitting with Jessie Cave on Friday night? He asked me to pass on a message to a friend of mine in Germany and like an idiot, I didn't ask him his name! Thank you.

Thanks it was a very hard weekend, but I tried my best to keep a smile on my face and help as many people as I could. I did love to look on all your faces when I walked into Alex's queue. It was so "O'bugger, Too Tall's here, something's not good!". And I was one of those. I was so sure that you were going to say that Alex had decided not to attend the show. Thanks for all of the hard work that you put in over the weekend Too Tall. : )

I've been going to Showmasters events for a very long time, and this past weekend was one of the best. I had a great time, and I wanted to say thank you again to Jason, and all of the hard working crew, who were all very nice and polite. I have to take my hat off to you all about re booking all of those hotel rooms....I would have been a gibbering wreck in a corner with a bottle of wine clutched in my hands! And yes please to the bigger name guests, I really enjoyed meeting Karen, Alex and Christopher Lambert!

Can I suggest that if you want to book a hotel for next year's event that you phone the reservations at the hotel that you want to stay in (not the central reservations service) and ask them about booking a room for next year? Some hotels will book rooms more than 12 months in advance, but it's best to get your bookings in now. Hope that helps!

I liked the idea that Karen and the other bigger guests were hidden away, otherwise it would have been a Health and Safety nightmare! All it would have needed was for one person to have fallen, or a child to have been hurt, and that would lead to a lot of problems for the future events.

I thought that the band also drowned out the stage talks a bit. I also thought that the tannoy announcements were too quiet, but there's not much Showmasters can do about that.

Umm...there was a Gold Pass chill out room? Where???? I was speaking to a guy called Martin from Sweden (another Gold Pass Holder) and he told me about this, but he couldn't find it either. It's a great idea if that's what happened, but it would have been nice to know where it was!

I must add my thanks to the crew who made everything run smoothly, and were always polite and friendly. Big thanks to all of those who were crewing Alex's autograph line, and keeping us up to date as to when Alex was expected to arrive. The best laugh I had of the day was the lady who was shouting "Virtual Queue tickets for Alex Kingston" and then she shouted out "Virtual Queue tickets for Karen Gillan"! Thanks for that!
