  1. Thanks for the replys, hope I can make it.
  2. I just missed out date wise in purchasing some photo op tickets. My question is are tickets still available on saturday to purchase at the event...? Are there many left...? Is there a quota for each guest...? Any sold out...? Was mainly after the following Saturday guests:- MICHAEL SHANKS CHRIS JUDGE GEORGE TAKEI Finally is it possible to get the actual photo image from the camera emailed to yourself so you can print of extra pictures later or will all pics be put on some site to download later. I only ask as the alternative it to scan the picture you get to your PC to print again and that reduces the quality of the image.
  3. Well it looks like he will be another CM cancellation.
  4. I guess SM have never heard of the saying thet "The Customer Is Always Right". Just do what you feel like, think i'll just give it a miss, nothing happens on Friday anyway hey...?
  5. Would that not work better if they did photo shoots on FRIDAY only? That way forcing the majority who go at the weekend to have to come on the Friday too .. Not really as you always have sundays and never Fridays, how about being fair and letting Friday people have an opportunity as well for ONCE. So either Friday & Saturday or Friday & Sunday. But I guess you all know best and will continue doing what you like.
  6. @royalmale That's a great idea, I always go on a friday because I have to work on the weekends. I was totally gutted last year when I met Ernie Hudson and he told me that he had bought his Gostbusters outfit, but the photo shoot was for sunday only. I think they choose Sunday's on purpose to make people go for the full 3 days, I did all my autographs and trowlled the stores in about 5 hours last time. Another vote for Friday Photo Shoots here.
  7. I heard it was the blue outfit from Ghostbusters II.
  8. As Usual that is a big fat NO, however Ernie did tell me on Friday that he had his Ghostbusters outfit in the back room, however I thought he was just having a laugh as it was not advertised as so.
  9. The man was a pure delight, it's so refreshing to meet a guest who embraces the film(s) that made him a houshold star. Too many other people shun movies that got them there, like Carrie Fisher who some time back was refusing to personalise items with phrases like "May The Force Be With You". Yep Ernie did mention it was Bill Murray who stopped things happening with Ghostbusters 3. I just wish I could of come Saturday as well to have a pic taken with Ernie in his Ghostbusters costume.
  10. Sorry you were dissapointed. We (The Knights Of The Empire) had a great time making peoples Star Wars fantasies come true. I was the Mandalorian on the stand on Saturday (an ankle injury stopped me from trooping the event on Sunday), alongside Tony and others. Except for a short break when we needed to get something to eat and drink, (it gets REALLY hot after 9 hours sealed in a costume!) there was always someone on the stand, even when the rest of us were trooping the event and posing for photos elsewhere. All in all it was a good event and I'm pleased we could be a part of it, with moneys raised going to NACCPO. As to your suggestion, thanks; the Knights Of The Empire will look into it as we are always endevouring to make the experiance fun for all. I'm affraid I was only there on Friday so I missied you, but if the pictures were a little larger I would have been tempted. Star Wars Rules
  11. JCB really makes me laugh at these events. If you ask JCB for a posed shot she usually obliges. There was hardly anyone inline to see the Law & Order guest, however JCB had put up a sign "No Posed Photo's". I'm not really too bothered as I did not want to meet her, however I did notice that the guest was not really bothered as my fiend bumped in to her in the centre and she was more than happy to stop and take a posed pic with him. Anyhow check out this classic pic, lol.
  12. Ernie Hudson was the star of the show, 61 years old and still looks so young. Ernie went well beyond the call of duty, tonns of posed pictures, always smiling too, stood up for all of them as well. Other guests and there agents (JCB) should take note. Even though Ernie has done loads of films and TV he knew what people wanted and came wearing a Ghostbusters T-Shirt with "Winston Rules" on it.
  13. When I was there Friday I saw 2 people get a photo on it, did not really look that great. There was only one bike, so I guess they edit the Scout Trooper in on the laptop. The background was just a curtain with a print of leaves on it. The pictures that were printed out were quite small on one of those portable printers that you simply put memory cards in to. Before the event I was tempted to get one, but after seeing it I was a little dissapointed. I guess some people liked it though. My suggestions would be if they used a blue screen and added the background on the PC, it's quite simple to do. Also they should of had a full A4 photo printer so you can frame it nicely.
  14. Well decided to go on Friday after all and had a great time with Ernie Hudson, got an over the table picture with him and a signed cast pic of Ghostbusters signed "That's A Big Twinkie". We also met Ernie several times around the centre and on one occasion we had a group photo with him. Ernie Hudson has to be the best guest at CM10, but I am biased.
