  2. Y'see, we mock Royal Mail for losing stuff, but sometimes they get it right! I use a cunning code to keep my spreadsheets in the right order when it comes to printing letters (oh, how I love thee mail-merge!) and registration lists: G - Gold S - Silver ST - Standard VIP - Pretty self-explanatory!
  3. Reg letters were posted this morning, so let the Royal Mail stalking begin! For anyone travelling from overseas: If you don't have it the day you're due to travel (and you have access to email after you've left your home), email me at the shop address and I'll send your ticket numbers so it'll be quicker at the Reg Desk. I'd intended to send them last weekend, but I had a falling out with my laptop, which has now been replaced with a shiny new red one! So I apologise for the delay :)

  6. A few minutes ago, it occurred to me that today is the best chance I'll have to start printing the registration letters. So, hurry up and email the shop if your address has changed since you ordered your tickets cuz I've got work to do :)
  7. I last checked emails a couple of days ago and you weren't in there. Send it again :) I'll be processing orders again over the weekend, if you don't have a reply by late Sunday give me another shout.
  8. Okay... The Start date/Issue number problem. For some silly reason you need to populate those fields even if the details don't relate to your card. Use zeros or "n/a" and it'll push the order through. Payments are processed manually and for Visa/Mastercard all we need is the 16-digit number, expiry date and CVC (the 3 numbers from the back of the card) you can make up any old rubbish for the other fields for those cards. The lesser-spotted Switch card still requires the extra info, but I can't remember the last time I saw one of those. The Gold ticket problem. Firstly, thank you to those people who went ahead and purchased a Silver ticket when the Golds appeared to be out of stock, on this occasion we would be happy for you to upgrade to a Gold ticket if you so wished. We're bending the policy this time because the error was our fault and you supported the show anyway. If you'd like to upgrade, please place an order for a Gold ticket and provide your Silver ticket order number in the additional info box. PLEASE NOTE: * Upgrades will only be allowed for Silver tickets that were bought just because there were no Gold tickets left. * I know the exact date that the error occurred and anyone who bought a Silver ticket before this date will not be permitted to upgrade, so please only attempt to upgrade if you were genuinely affected by the error. * Anyone trying their luck will be publicly tarred and feathered before the event's opening ceremony. * First come, first served. Obviously.

  10. These refunds are only ever handled at reg desk during the event, with me processing refunds afterwards for anyone unable to attend. You'll have the choice of a card refund, vouchers for other HW5 activities, or a split of both. We tend not to give refunds in cash for security reasons. Just have a word at the desk, we'll be expecting a big bunch of you!
  11. As soon as I get home, I'll be closing the online shop for all new HW5 orders for tickets, photoshoots and absentee packs. You've got about 90 minutes, so hurry up! Letters for the last-minute orders and those received since Oct 3rd will be printed and posted tonight. Overseas orders will get an email instead. Regarding photoshoots - some orders for Amy Acker were processed after the announcement because I hadn't been updated. These and all other refunds will be given at the show, either as vouchers for other HW5 activities or straight back to the card you used to buy them. Just have a word at the Reg desk :)
  12. If your letter has been sent (ie. you placed your order before Oct 3rd and you weren't the person who's card failed) and you still don't have it, email me again with FAO YVIE in the subject. I can email you your ticket numbers, it's really not a big deal :) If you purchased after the 3rd, your letter will be on the way tomorrow.
  13. It took a little longer to get back to normal life after Vegas, apologies for that!! 1. The office doesn't have access to my reg lists, they are on my laptop only, and therefore they can only confirm your original address and not any subsequent changes. Apologies for any confusion that may have been caused there. 2. Letters for orders placed late on Oct 3 to date have NOT been sent, so stop stalking your postman. I'm going to send those tomorrow morning along with the last minute orders received before I close the shop tonight. 3. The £3 fee covers a heck of a lot more than a stamp. The credit card machine isn't free and neither is stationery, my time, printer ink, etc. 4. As of last night I'd replied to every email I had waiting for me. If you emailed prior to yesterday and haven't had a reply then I didn't get your email. Try again, info@collectormania.com, sending to any other showmasters address runs the risk of delay and/or being missed. The same address is used for SM and ME shows, so put FAO YVIE in the subject and it'll get to me quicker :)

  15. Well, I'm treating myself to yet another trip to Las Vegas so I thought I'd treat you lot to early reg letters!! I'm SO nice like that I also like to mention VEGAS as often as possible because Mark is all colours of jealous. VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS!!!

Reg letters are in the process of being printed (or at least they were until the ink ran out, they're now on hold while I wait for an Amazon delivery) and they'll be posted on or before Friday because I'm flying to Las Vegas on Saturday morning!! Excited much?! Obviously, I won't be around to answer the usual emails that are sent after letters have been posted out, so please try not to email regarding anything answered below as it will be easier to identify and answer more serious queries when I get back :) Okay.... 1. Please wait until Oct 13th before chasing your reg letter. I'll be out of the country until the 14th so you won't get a reply before then. All letters will be posted on the same day. 2. Your reg letter doesn't confirm your photoshoot purchases, only your ticket numbers. Pre-purchased photoshoots are on the reg list and you'll collect them when you register at the event. Please bring copies of the confirmation emails for any additional purchases, this will help the crew fix any problems. 3.Typos don't matter. Seriously. The crew can tell when I've typo'd on the reg list and you won't be stopped at the door because your name appears one letter wrong. 4. "Plus One" on your letter. This is because you didn't give the names of other ticket holders when placing your order. This is the one thing I'd LOVE for you to email me about, please provide additional names as soon as possible to avoid delays at the reg desk when you arrive at the event.
  17. Sorry about any confusion - it was down to a printer issue. I couldn't print the orders and process them normally because my printer finally gave in the ghost after 3 years of ME printing (not bad considering it was a cheapo one intended for home use, lol). Anyway, I couldn't update the order status until I'd had a chance to print off the summary sheet, otherwise I'd have to find them all again individually and that's a drag. So the knackered hardware has now been replaced and the online shop has been brought back up to date as of Sept 26 and again today. If you check your order status now it'll say "paid" if it's complete.

Anyone who hasn't received their letter can either bring their confirmation emails OR email me on the shop address and I'll try to reply with your ticket numbers to make Reg Desk a little quicker. I'm going to bed very soon (I've been up since 4.50am!!) but I'll find time to check and reply to emails during the day tomorrow :) EDIT - Okay, half an hour later and the ME emails are up to date. If you do decide to email me for your ticket numbers, please provide your order number or your full name. The next person who emails me with no info whatsoever will get a Ma'Tok staff shoved where only Stargate customs men would dare to probe!
  22. I can explain the personalisation issue because I was her GA on Saturday. Jenna was concerned about autographs appearing on eBay and wanted to personalise everything to avoid any fans getting ripped off or otherwise taken advantage of. The only exceptions to this rule were multi-signed items that had already been inked by a number of other DW names. This approach was changed after lunch when it became obvious that time constraints were going to be an issue, additionally, towards the end of the day her hand was getting tired (this was her first event, after all) and her signature became less uniform. She genuinely had a great time meeting everyone and was worried about rushing through in the afternoon, but she was more concerned about leaving people disappointed if they weren't able to meet her. At the end of the day she and her mum both said they'd enjoyed the show and expressed an interest in doing it again, so hopefully you'll get another chance to meet her :)
  23. While I'm at work today, my lovely mum will be posting your letters! Stalk your postman, the time is near! Also, the Online Shop will be closing on Tuesday evening next week, but Silver and Standard passes will still be available to purchase at the registration desk during the event :)
