  1. Letters for those people who booked at the last event were posted this evening, they should start landing on your doormats on Thursday morning. If yours doesn't arrive, just bring your photo ID as normal and we'll find you on the list :)
  2. Hi everyone. So, I remembered the code within about half an hour but the relief was short-lived. The refund function on the card machine refused to work and we weren't able to push it though with the company who provide the card machines. I spent ages on the phone with them, but to no avail Mark has now asked me to email everyone for bank transfer details or details for sending out a cheque, and you should've received that just a moment ago because I just clicked 'send.' I'm missing a couple of addresses, but I should have those tomorrow and I'll send the email to the rest of you asap. Anyone who was helpful enough to send card details - please be assured that those emails will be deleted now that they're no longer required. I really appreciate that you tried to help us out on that one, and I'm sorry that we weren't able to run with Plan A. Sorting out your refunds (and free gifts, we haven't forgotten!) is a priority, I'm sorry it looks like that hasn't been the case.
  3. Thanks to those who've emailed details :) Refunds have been delayed cuz I can't remember the supervisor code, on the bloody card machine. I've asked the office and will get on it ASAP!
  4. I can't answer that, I'm afraid. I'm not always privy to secret stuff :)
  5. Oh, and I apologise for my slow response. I only found out tonight that the announcement had been made! I should check the forum more often...
  6. I'll be making a start refunding the electronic purchases on Saturday. All refunds will be sent to the card you used via the online shop. Anyone who paid on the day (in cash or by card) needs to email the shop address with card details I can send the refund to. Feel free to split the info if you're concerned about email security. I only need the full card number and expiry. We don't need extra details for most refunds, no CVC code for example. shop@showmastersevents.com

    Last Orders

The online shop will be closing on Wednesday, but there will still be tickets available on the door.
  8. Reg letters are en route! Please wait until the weekend before chasing your letter. They have ALL been posted, so please give the postman a chance to do his job :) Apologies for sending them a little later than usual, getting to the post office during the day is tricky! See you soon!
  9. Hi everyone! We have never needed to know your Tshirt sizes before the event, so please don't go to the trouble of emailing us about it :) When you register at the event, you'll be able to choose a size from those available. In fairness to everyone, we don't reserve Tshirts for any individuals; it's first come first served.
  10. So that I can get the final orders processed in time for the weekend, the online shop will close for MMPC orders when I get home from my day job on Wednesday afternoon. All ticket types will be available on the door, so even if you haven't booked in advance you should still feel very welcome to join us! Yvie Massive Events
  11. The online shop facility, stationery, postage, salary, credit card processing fees and a dozen other things are covered by the £3 charge. Additionally, passes double-up as your autograph and photoshoot tickets (where applicable) and are therefore irreplaceable, for this reason we do not risk losing them in the mail. Please check out the event's FAQs which clearly explain that a Registration Letter will be sent and that you bring this with you to collect your Registration Pack: http://massiveevents.co.uk/powercon/faq.html I hope you enjoy the event :)
  12. Namine, you might want to check which address you're using because my emails are up to date and I didn't see any from you or any about this topic. We don't really mind if your ID has expired. We just want to see something with a name and a photo on it, your passports will be fine :)
  13. Most of the letters were posted yesterday, with the rest following today. They should be with you soon. Please don't email me to chase your letter until next week, give Royal Mail a chance first :) See you soon!!
  14. The online shop will close on the Wednesday before the event and upgrades will be available online until then, provided that they don't sell out. Subject to availability, you will also be able to upgrade on the day. Orders (including upgrades) will be processed again over the weekend.
  15. Haha, I can't click that at work or the IT Police will be after me! Please feel free to repost this information anywhere and everywhere, we'd hate for people to miss out
  16. Mods, please pin this one :) Since Mark announced that this would be the last Eternal Twilight show, we've seen comments from people saying that they wish they'd bought Gold passes this time. We'd like to give everyone the chance to make the most of their weekend, therefore the restriction on upgrading tickets has been lifted for this show!! THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO UPGRADE TO GOLD FOR ET10!!! GOLD PASS HOLDERS ARE ABLE TO SIT IN THE FRONT SECTION OF THE TALK HALL, GAIN ENTRY TO THE HALL BEFORE SILVER & STANDARD PASS HOLDERS AND ARE INVITED TO THE DRINKS RECEPTION WITH OUR GUESTS ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT!!! FREE WINE!!! SEROUSLY, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? Gold tickets are 2/3 sold out, but if you'd like to upgrade to grab one of the remaining tickets you can! Please follow the instructions below to upgrade and avoid being overcharged... 1. Via the online shop, place a new order for the Gold ticket(s) you want. This is the most secure way to get your payment details to me. 2. In the comments section, along with ticket holder names, please write: "This purchase is for an upgrade from Standard/Silver order 12345" and remember to edit it to add your own order details. 3. Email the shop to confirm that you've done 1&2 and to provide your new order number. I'll then upgrade your current ticket type to Gold (or VIP if you're feeling flush), charge your card with the difference in price and then I'll reply to your email to confirm it has all been done. When your 'old' reg letter arrives (some of them have already been posted), bin it and wait for the new one. Easy peasy!
  17. I ran out of stamps, so some of them will be mailed in the morning and others late evening. Sorry, but they'll only be a day later than the first lot and I thought that was better than making everyone wait :) Some letters are on hold until the recipients have replied to an email, so please reply ASAP if that's you and you haven't already done so. If you haven't received a letter by Wednesday next week, drop me an email at the shop address. Anyone bugging me about it before then will be flogged with lanyard strings at the Reg Desk
  18. Sorry honey, I didn't see this until now. If you don't get your letter in time, bring your confirmation email. I keep a list of successful/unsuccessful orders and our reg list has order numbers on it, so we always have a way to double check when letters don't show up :)
  19. 1. The P&P fee covers: postage, credit card machine charges, ink, paper, envelopes, admin fees, overheads, and a bunch of other things. It's not just a stamp. 2. We have always sent one letter per order, unless different ticket types are requested in the same order. We don't enjoy killing trees for no good reason. 3. You can check in before your friends get there, we just cross out your name on the letter so we know it has been collected and then you can pass the letter to your friend to check in when they arrive. If you ever have trouble with this at the reg desk, ask them to give me a shout. 4. You only need an email from your friend if they are NOT attending, as this allows you to collect their autographs for them in their absence. 5. I've been doing ME registrations for over 4 years and during that time they've never been sent recorded delivery. SM show tickets are sent recorded because they can't be replaced, but ME reg letters are presented with ID in order to collect your pass, free 8x10s and other items. Reg packs would be very expensive to post and couldn't be replaced if they went missing in the mail, so we avoid the risk of your irreplaceable passes getting lost and we also avoid passing those unnecessary additional postage fees on to our attendees. I hope I covered it all, but I'm sure you'll let me know if I missed something :) Finally, to everyone who placed an order after the first lot of letters were sent and before 7pm this evening, your reg letters will be posted in the morning. Last orders will be processed on Wednesday when the online shop is closed, and those letters will be posted on Thursday :)
  20. As usual, the online shop will close on the last Wednesday before the event so that I'll have time to send the last few registration letters, finalise the reg list, etc. There will still be Gold, Silver and Standard tickets available on the door, but there are no VIP tickets left
  21. I posted them a few minutes before the box was due to be emptied, and I couldn't see the postman. They are either being picked up in the morning or delivered in the morning, depends if Postie was early or not :) They're a little early this time because I'm working LFCCW and Belfast. Three people have emails that they need to reply to before theirs are sent, so please check your junk mail.
  22. Letters will be posted later this week, I'll post an announcement when they're on their way.
  23. You say "the pre-con excitement" but I say "the dreaded day of papercuts" Only joking! I wouldn't do it if it wasn't enjoyable, deep deep deep deep deep down. DEEP down. The word 'deep' has now lost all meaning...
  24. I'm going to start printing the Reg letters this weekend. If you have changed address since you booked your tickets, PLEASE email the shop to provide your new details before 5pm on Friday. Please also provide either your order number or your full name, address, ticket details so I can find you on the list. It's getting close!!!!
  25. Okay, everyone makes mistakes so I have triple-checked EVERY standard, silver and gold order and not one of them was in the wrong list. Every order that was placed and paid successfully has been allocated a number according to the ticket type they ordered. I'm afraid that until you email me with more details I cannot help any further. If you are referring to a photoshoot order, please be advised that they are not included in the registration letters and tickets for those will be given to you when you arrive. That's all I can do to help for now.
