  1. I was so sure you'd forgotten me, it's been ages! Yes, it is me, and it would be awesome to catch up Becky! We really should get together anyway, if you have time. You're actually really really close, it's spelled Mieneke, you did better than some people here in Holland I haven't heard back from the others yet, will mail if and when we come along.
  2. Oooh, this sounds like fun! Will talk to my friends if they want to go (one probably will, other I don't know. We'll just drag him along anyway)
  3. Nooooo, Tom Baker shoot and Scott talk clashing! Really hat this, will probably just stay as long as possible at the talk, run to the shoot, run back and miss maybe 15 mins? If I run *really* fast, I could miss just 12... A friend ordered my tickets, so not sure which days I'm getting what :s
  4. Actually, I'm interested in finding out if she has any pictures from The Fith Element. Very beautiful woman, I expect she'll turn many heads, and not just from the SW fans!
  5. Lol, same here... AM on 515 GBP for my first choices, plus 290 for the iffy ones, and 140 for entry, talk and photoshoots. No wonder I'm not going to as many cans as I used to, my taste has gotten so broad I just can't afford them anymore!
  6. Yeah! I already have a couple of shots signed from Enterprise, but would LOVE a Desmond's shot. Just found out th first 2 seasons are on DVD, might just buy them and pull a screenie. Or get the box signed. Hooray for Desmond's! Would love to meet more castmembers actually!
  7. For those who don't want to go and see for themselves: Saturday only: ALEXANDRA MOEN 10 BRUCE BOXLEITNER 15 CHLOE ANNETTE 10 DANNY JOHN JULES 10 JANET ELLIS 10 JIMMY JEAN LOIS 15 KEELEY HAWES 15 TOM BAKER 15 Both days: ALEX MERAZ 15 DANNY TREJO 15 JUSTIN CHON 15 MICHAEL SHANKS 15 PETER FACINELLI 15 RAY PARK 15 SCOTT BAKULA 25 Sunday only: DOMINIC KEATING 15 EDWARD FURLONG 15 EVE MYLES 15 JACOB KOGAN 15 JAMES PHELPS 10* JEWEL STAITE 15 MICHAEL IRONSIDE 15 NICK COURTNEY 10 OLIVER PHELPS 10* PAUL McGANN 10 PETER MAYHEW 15 *Only together, so 20 for a picture with both twins. Does that help? I always plan what to get beforehand (tickets, autographs, photoshoots, talks) but this time it's getting way out of hand! I'm on 700 GBP just for autos, plus 140 for photoshoots, entry and talks. Need to edit my list I guess...
  8. Well, not really a suggestion, but more a question. If I'm not sure a certain game will be available, can I bring my own copy? Someone mentioned Duck Hunt, but not all NES owner have it (or the zapper). So, could I just bring my own? I love old games. My best games ever list includes Zelda - A link to the Past, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Kart (yes, the SNES version) and Zelda - Link's Awakening. Unfortunately I can't play the last one anymore, my old gameboy died But, I also love DDR! SO will have to plan my day, and make my friends stand in line for guests so I have time to play!
  9. I'm meeting a lot more than 10! Star Trek, Star Wars, Heroes, Dr Who... Am saving up but running out of time
  10. This looks really cool! My hubby's a big transformers fan, I might surprise him with it!
  11. I'm still thinking whether or not to cospley at all. If I do, I'll probably go for an easy one I already have like Prof McGonagall (watch out for awful quality picture) or maybe Herr Flick (with Richard Gibson in the photo, guess which one is me? ) This mainly because - I don't have the time for a new costume right now - I can't bring much luggage because I'm sharing a suitcase with someone else - I don't know if I want to yet. I love the humanformers! The costumes look really cool! PS: when "Esme" was mentioned on the first page, my first thought was Esme Weatherwax from the Discworld books. Now that would be cool, and not too hard cause all she wears is black. I didn't make the Twilight connection at all, as I have not seen the film (and don't really have an interest in it either, maybe when it's on tv in a few years).
  12. OMG!!! Both me and bf are HUGE NBC fans, we collect the WDCC statues and have the special collector's edition DVD (in a buste of Jack), so it will be hard to decide what to get signed...
  13. Don't worry your drawing talent wouldn't be judged. As long as the costume and props are clear. Bascally anything you want to be judged on would need to clear to the judges. I actually own a costume and several items based on the Wheel of Time books. I wore the dress at CM once, but only one person recognised it . If I were to enter a competiotn, I'd only have the description from the book, is that enough for reference? Any picture material would be just a drawing of photo of my own dress, which defeats the purpose, doesn't it? I mean, it's not fair to judge how much my dress looks like my dress, because obviously, it does!
  14. I am looking for a photo of me and a girl I met while at the Allo Allo end on Sunday. She asked me for a photo, as I was dressed as Herr Flick (not the one with the partially blonde hair though ), and we later chatted in the queue for James. If you're on here, I'd love to see the picture your friend made (she was German, had short hair)!
  15. I got one with Peter Mayhew which is on the post: Post your pics of C11 here! Where did that thread go btw?
  16. Mine are all along the lines of "To Mieneke, best wishes/love/hello" I hardly ever ask for quotes, do like dedications though. I have some pretty outrageous ones in my collection. Most interesting one this weekend was "Grrrrr..." from George Hertzberg I guess.

weird thing is though, that the last post in the CM11 forum was at 6.09 PM. Which is only half an hour ago! I on the other hand haven't been able to go there all day... :s weird. Oh, Raf looks very cute with the banana, I'll give him a print this weekend

  20. Sue Hodge's husband, I saw him there :) I had a fun time meeting them. Have met several before, when they were in Holland, and it was good to see them again. If anyone noticed the cookies some of them had on the table: they were given them by me :) I was dressed as Flick as well, as I know that Richard usually takes the coat and hat along. I got a really lovely shot made by a friend of us hugging. It looks slightly... disturbing... I loved the fact that the cast of the MK stage show was there in costume in the afternoon. They looked awesome! When I came up, one of them (the guy playing Rene) said " 'Ow many Herr Flicks can you get in this building?" As there were three just within sight!
  21. it's been confirmed somewhere on the boards. You get a VT ticket, go to the organisers booth to pay and then head over to the guest.
  22. Have heard the same list on other sites though..
  23. The Return of Allo Allo can now be found on youtube! It's split into 11 pieces of about 10 mins each, but it's all there. Watched it yesterday, it was really cool!
  24. Me tooooo. My budget has grown explosively over the last few weeks, I'm glad my credit card is still working... Ooooh, found some pounds left over from my last trip to CM!
  25. Same here, never seen them. But, most actors do have sharpies, either their own or supplied by the convention organiser. I know that Ray Park always brings his own red sharpies, as he signs Darth Maul pics with a light background with these. And Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk) Always brings green, to sign Hulk pics with. Still, never hurts to bring you own.
