  1. In addition to those actors that have already attended SM events, who I would always be happy to see again, including Rene Auberjonois who I missed and would love to meet, here is the non-definative list of all the people that to my best recall have not yet attended an SM event, that I would like to meet and get signed autographs from. Avery Brooks - Ben Sisko Terry Farrell - Jadzia Cirroc Lofton - Jake (have met - really nice, would like to meet again) Colm Meaney - Miles O'Brien (Poor man, I pounced on him at the airport, so I do have his signature, but would love a signed photo too) Nana Visitor - Kira Nicole de Boer - Ezri Aron Eisenberg - Nog Marc Alaimo - Gul Dukat Jeffrey Combs - Weyoun/Brunt Max Grodenchik - Rom Camille Saviola - Kai Opaka Rosalind Chao - Keiko Andrew Robinson - Garak (I met him at my first ever visit to an event, would like to meet him again - I think I gushed too much the first time) Wallace Shawn - Grand Nagus Zek Robert O'Reilly - Gowron Chase Masterson - Leeta J.G. Hertzler - General Martok (great bloke, the time I met him, he sang us a rap and we, me and the group of people that had gathered around, sang the Klingon song to him; it was very animated and a great laugh) Louise Fletcher - Vedek Winn Adami Philip Anglim - Vedek Bareil Antos Salome Jens - Female Shapeshifter Melanie Smith - Tora Zinjal James Darren - Vic Fontane and any other actors, on the extended lists, especially those that play aliens as I would like a signed photo of a Jem'Hadar and a Bolien for my collection of aliens.
  2. I voted for Morn - Mark Alan Shepherd as I would like a signed photo of him sitting in the bar in DS9 and didn't know of Collectormania's existance the last time he was a MK. I always liked his character. I missed Roxanne Dawson, as you have on the voting list. I would like the chance to meet her in person, even though my friend got her signature for me, it isn't the same as meeting someone for yourself. I would like to see Denise Crosby again as I only paid to get one autograph from her on my collective poster. I have wished I had got an individual picture signed as well and would appreciate the opportunity to meet her again and correct that. Anyone that hasn't met Penny, I recommend that you go and see her if she ever comes back - what a lovely person she is. I can't praise her highly enough - and don't forget she plays the presidents wife in "24" as well as her part in DS9. If Dwight Schultz came again I would get him to sign on my collective TNG poster I can't place Daphne Ashbrook and certainly haven't met her, so would always be happy to meet any "actor/extras" from any ST series.
  3. I would queue up to meet her and get her autograph - without a doubt.
  4. If he ever was to come to an SM event, I would definately have to get his autograph. He is great as Blade.
  5. Definately - any or all the cast members.
  6. Yes please get him back. Stupidly missed the last event he came to and he is so cute as Charlie in Lost.
  7. My friend and I would queue up for her autograph. I think she's great. I'd even be prepared to pay top wack for it.
  8. Yes Please - definately 2 autographes required for my friend ans I.
  9. Met Michael Sheard in Bournemouth last year - what a nice man and so very sad that he has recently died. He was kind enough to freely sign my event brochure and chatted with my friend and I. He will be missed.
  10. I voted for RDMcN as I am only missing his and Jeri's signatures to my group photo but I'd also like to see Roxanne because I missed her and my friend had to get her signature for me - it's not the same though, so I hope she comes to an event again so I can meet her myself.
  11. Here are the next five questions 1] Mary comes around the scout to mark the spot. (A. 3+6) 2] Hanging Rhubarb is not R.B.'s wildest idea as Elefont decoration, Chief! (C.4,4,4) 3] Disjoin french honey uncovers Elfen family name. (C.8) 4] H.R.M. is feeling sullen. (A. 9+5) 5] Homer's epic poem, forgets a letter; a gaelic minstral picks it up in the Lobby and starts to dance. (A. 5+4) Hope to hear from you soon.
  12. Hi Crusty - So, you're the one! Wayne had said that someone had said that to him! I think he was a bit perturbed with the comparison. (But I can see where you're coming from). When we had dinner with Paul, my friend sat to his right and Wayne was on the other side of her. She said he seemed very shy. We chatted away to him though and he was interesting company. At TFF my friend and I had gold passes for all three days and had specifically asked for the Saturday night dinner as they had said that Billy would make an appearance. An appearance was all that it was, but it didn't matter because the whole occasion was excellent, especially when all the young guys took off their shirts and did the Haka! - and even Paul joined in the entertainment, singing an amusing song and then in a jamming session on the piano, with Joel and I think Jed on guitar. Did you go to the Dinner, the Party or neither? We followed the guests after the dinner to the party, but only stayed for about a half hour while the guests played again. You have the last two answers right, so I would give you 5 more questions but I only have the work computer and am only here because I was on a training course today, so I don't have the paperwork with me. I'm on a night shift tomorrow, so I'll put the next five questions in then. See you
  13. Message for Liessa Where are you seeing him. He mentioned a French/Belgium convention. If you will see him at a convention, can you advise site.
  14. Hi Crusty - lovely to hear from you. I was there the Friday as well - I got William Shatner and Wayne Pigram that day and Paul Norell came up to my friend and I, and told us off for not saying hello to him (we last met him a month previously at the another show and sat at his table at the official dinner and had lots of opportunity to talk with him) and he invited us to join him as his guests for dinner - so you can see why I think C8 was the best! I am so lucky n'est pas? All over now - back to reality and I thought you might like some clues to No.2 and No. 3 No2. Is a character found in the book but not in the film (Hence, Reading it) Think of something that destroys big-time and a herb that goes with fish, say in Gravalax. Put the two together and the answer should be there. No3. Supporting Cast member, "Hobbit, resident of Hobbiton" in the Fellowship of the Ring - the clue can be broken down to give the answer. Clue to the first name (friend of St.Paul) He has two books in the new testiment and it starts with T. His name, followed by tuppance is an expression I recall from my childhood, although I don't know where it has come from, possibly a book. The surname is the same as Martin Sheen's president in "The West Wing". I hope that helps you get the last two clues.
  15. I think he is adorable. My friend and I now count him as a friend. We've met and chatted to him on three previous occasions. He actually approached us on Friday afternoon and told us off for not popping over to say hello when we had arrived that morning. We had coffee together in John Lewis's on Sunday. I shall always look forward to seeing him again. Such a gorgeous man and very generous with his kisses. My friend and I both received one as a greeting each day. Lovely!
  16. As a regular visitor since C3 (thou' stupidly booking a holiday at the same time as C5 - curses) (plus LF&CC1) it just gets better and better. Thank you Showmasters. Thank you everyone in the team. Although I don't think I know you personally, my friend and I must be getting a reputation 'cause some of the stall holders, crew and even dare I say, one or two of the regular actors are becoming aquaintances, maybe even friends, so there is a possibility that we know you by sight even if we don't know your names and possibly vice versa. We love you so much that we now book time off work for all your shows before we make plans for any other holidays. You may think what sad individuals that makes us but we thoroughly enjoy our weekends with you, even when we spend all our money, so a BIG THANKYOU to you all.
  17. TOS Elaan (played by France Nuyen)
  18. I'd disappeared to the bottom of the page, so before I disappear completely, I've brought myself back up to the top. Had a love time visiting Valencia and Alicante and places in between. Thoroughly enjoyed myself at C8 - probably the most enjoyable time I've had to date. Thank you Showmasters. If anyone wants to play, just look back to the previous entry. Look forward to hearing from you.
  19. I can only get Channel 5 since I bought a new video and can get it fuzzily through that (I live in the wrong part of the country for reception), so the reception isn't fantastic but it has given me the opportunity of watching Stargate Atlantis, so I am delighted with these guests. Great Start - looking forward to it alot. Can we have the guys from Atlantis too? They've been to something in London before but can't recall if it was one of yours or someone elses and I didn't know them then. Still haven't had my fill of SG1 people, so if you can get any of the goa'uld other than Suanne who I have already met, that would make me very happy.
  20. I will probably start queuing outside from about 08h00 as I did for Carrie Fisher. There were probably about 200 people in front of me. They then opened the door some 30 people behind me (which I didn't see at the time)(and all the other doors too) so all those people behind got to the ticket collection point before me as did people from all other entrances, and I got a ticket in the 900's - she stopped before that number, so I had to do it all over again the next day and thankfully got a ticket number about 360 so was successful. I hope it is more like with Spike where everyone was lead in through one door only and it was heavily supervised - but it was so annoying having to wait for so many hours outside in a queue just for the ticket (and I was just in the queue to keep the girlfriend company, I didn't want his autograph). In preference, I would like tickets to be handed out fairly to the queue while they are waiting outside or, if there is some legal reason why you can't give us the tickets outside - although why I don't know 'cause you're not actually selling anything, get the team helpers organised in advance and have one heavily guarded entrance and ticket distributers on either side, and let the queue pick up the tickets as they go through, rather than sending us down some long snaking queue to a more distant point to pick up tickets. and pre-prepare for the rush by having the helpers organised in advance so that ticket issuing can be done early in the morning and not as late as 10am, so that there isn't all that hanging about for hours and the stall holders can have our business from the start of the day. As he might only end up doing a couple of hours (as his contract, as I understand, has given him the option of choosing when and if he signs) that would seem the fairest way, and the most confortable way, otherwise we might end up having to stand in a queue in possibly bad weather, for several hours, with a negative conclusion. If he only gets through about 300 and goes, it'll only be the faithful overnight queuers and maybe those that join them in the very early hours who'll get his signature in the end. However, I shall remain positive and hopeful and I'm definately going to try to get it.
  21. Hi Crusty - sorry for the delay I spent a week with the parents. Yes of course they are all correct. With this next lot, if you answer by or before the 18/9 you will get some more questions before October, otherwise you won't, as I shall be off to Sunny Spain for a few days then to Collectormania straight after that. So, here are the next five questions. 1] Keep Rooting aRound farmer maggot's vegetables. (C.8+4) 2] Reading it, this herb needs to be destroyed. (C.9) 3] West Wing's President, has tuppance for a close companion of St. Paul. (A.7+8) 4] Do you need a larger entry portal? (L.6) 5] Unidentified man joined Sir Larry's first lady, Scarlet, hammering at the doors of Rohan. (A.4+5) Hope to hear from you soon.
  22. Excellent - lovely to hear from you as always Crusty Here are my next five questions. 1] No real twists for the gardener's offspring (C.6) 2] Ian['s] olive tent (A.6+6) 3] Recorder of history in the white city generally, is our Michael (C.9+9) 4] Royal Warlock (C.5-4) 5] Gloomy Timber (L.8)
  23. Billybird thank you so much for supporting me and Crusty too. I had become quite dispondant but shall now endeavour to keep going.Thank you. Billybird, yes you have 1] Gloin correct and 3] Ranger correct. Crusty you have 4] Brian Sargeant correct and5] Albert Dreary correct You are on the right track regarding No.2 Crusty, it is his Maori name. This actor also played King Tynah in the Mel Gibson version of The Bounty and has just completed the film River Queen in which Paul Norell also has a part. That should help you find his name.
  24. Well, it's a new month so I thought I'd just bring my thread back up to the top one last time to see if anyone still wants to play. If not, I'll miss you crusty and wiccawise21 and all the others that gave it a try.
