Maybe you can get off your high horse. as i am at a guess 10 years older than you, i don't need someone telling me that i only like the films cause of the men, HUMOUR, remember. Yes the films are fantastic for many reasons, this is what i was trying to get across to you, the fact that it has opened up a new world, for people who either could not or had not read the books.

I want to know your views in LOTR, do you class yourself as a fan because you read the book when you was 2, and look down on people because their first taste of LOTR was in the movies. OR do you think it doesn't matter, we all love it for what ever reason, (mainly because of the male cast i think). I think there is a lot of snobbery reguarding this. I personally have read some of the best books in the world, and i can say i read on average, 2 books a week. But i have always found LOTR boring, hard to get in to and i still cannot read it now. Personally i think what Peter Jackson has done is so fantastic, when i heard he was making the films, i was not in the slightest bit interested. I was amazed when i was dragged kicking and screaming to watch FOTR, and in a way it has changed my life, for the better i may add. Bieng 30 it really pi**ed me off, when someone said i could not be a fan having not read the book. But i think that may be an advantage, from the small amount i have read, i think i would have been let down. As with every other film i have watched after reading the book, for example, Harry Potter, The Beach, any John Grisham or Stephen King film based on a book is a major let down. I love LOTR the movies (esp the men). Let me know what you think...

Don't want to be a fuddy duddy, but if you were my child you would not be travelling anywhere in a groups of 16 yr olds. Be carefull, MK is as bad as any other city, esp if you are a young vunerable traveller, who does not know anything about the place.

There are a lot of decent bed and breakfast places in Mk at a fraction of the price, people should also try looking in Stoney Stratford and Bletchley if the are really stuck. I have My Sister-in-laws nice 4 bed detached house. So i don't really have a problem. If all else fails, why not try camping, May isn't too bad in MK...

I know lij gets really pi**ed off when peeps try to see his, (its on his hip, mmmm) i want a LOTR tattoo, but trying to choose one that is both classy and not been done already is doing my head in, i would love my kids names in elvish, but as yet have not found any script i like. I am available for 3 of the days, and would love to help, may i give a bit if constructive critism, when i have been to previous CM's, i have noticed that you put the number of autographs brought in numeral, ie 3 instead of three, whilst the latter is quicker, i could not help but think it would be soooooo easy to change the number to 8. Whilst it is nice to think that everyone is honest and would not change the numbers, i am a non trusting type. I do not know if this is of any interest to you Mark, but i know it would be very easy to lose money if the system is not changed. Sorry i sound like a right idiot!!!
