1 - How long have you been a cosplayer? About 4/5 years i think now 2 - What was your first costume? Lara croft was my fisrt costume Cosplay wise :) 3- What was your best reaction to a costume? I did a chartiy event for 'Make a Wish Foundation' as Princess Leia and presented children with life thretening illnesses 'Junior Jedi' awards. Some of the little kids there i will never ever forget how proud they were to get this award. 4 - What was your worse reaction to a costume? As Leia when i was doing CIN cheque handover some radio chap came up to me and live on radio said 'Hey you look nothing like Princess leia' Least i didnt smell like a Nerfherder like him though Then also at the NEC someone said 'I didnt know they let Nuns in the convention' 5 - what is your sigiture costume (who are you known for)? Id say Princess Leia or Black Cat but im tying to move on from Leia atm 6 - Make own props or buy them? I buy some i make some - id have a job making a gun TBH LOL 7 - What is the greatest length you have gone for to finish a costume The usual sewing all night but last month i was heading to a pomo thing for Legoland ... i drove 120 miles to it - got there - made a joke like haha wouldnt it be funny if i had forgotton my dress now - looked in the car - i forgot my dress!!!!!!!!!! I had to drive 120 miles back home - then 120 miles back to Legoland !!!! LOL 8 - What changes have you made to yourself to complete a costume? I try to diet - it doesnt work LOL. I did have a nose job but that was for me not for my costumes - (i look bette in costumes now though lol not just like a witch!!) 9 - Best celeb reaction to a costume? Brian Thompson grabbing me infront of everyone and totally feeling my ass and loudly shouting "Can i spank you? - Hey its latex!!! Look how tight that is!!!!" 10 - What to you would be the ultimate costume? Everytime a new film comes out i think something new is awesome. Ill get back to you on that LOL Actually id really love my Zam Wessle to work out good hehe

Dont forget for Leia (if youre doing the white dress) It doesnt have seperate sleeves!!!!!!! Its just a big load of white material cut in a big baggy T . I didnt look how the sleeves went before i cut all my material and when i came to sew em on - its then i realised id ballsed it up. No-one notices anyway really but i was annoyed lol.

Well I'm really gutted i never met Brent - he was the only person there Ive always wanted to meet and by the time I'd got changed and ran for coffee I thought my parking ticket was about to run out so we left for the car. When we got there we found it was valid until 9am the next morning!!! lol whats that all about? Anyway I'm gutted i didnt meet him I really used to fancy him when i was a little girl - I'd sooooo have asked him to put 'programmed in multipul techniques' on with his signiture LOL Glad he's a really nice bloke and you guys got to talk to him - maybe next time eh? :)

Thanx Sith!! Yeah Im worried about those head tails LOL. It will be good to experiment with them though. Do you have any pictures of you guys in costume? I only passed you quickly a couple of times but from what i saw you lookd great. Be good to see a photo though :) As for you wearing a helmet Gazz - there are lots of times i wish i had a big Helmet to hide my face under too LOL. William - Im blushing! lol

Thanx hun!! Your costumes were great too!! I'm working on a Aayla Secura atm (cant wait to not be in a dress LOL) The blaster is just a toy Kenner you can buy them on Ebay for sure. Just spray-paint it black. Its not totally accurate but with a bit of work you can make them really good. Han is a great guy - he just gets the Lando soooo much hes a bit sick of it now LOL. We weren't part of the Coll event as you say we were promoting a toy store. I'm just a member on here from when I went to C5 - I really wanted to thank the nice girls for the Gingerbread Leia LOL

The 300 stalls must have included the 200 retailers that are actually in The Center MK LOL I was really dissapointed at the stalls the first time i went to Coll. There's not room for pushchairs or wheelchairs. If you stop to chat to anyone or look on a stall you get pushed into and hit as people push by. Very annoying lol

Im pretty gutted i never even got a glimpse of Carrie But i was really happy when some kewl girls gave me a gingerbread Leia!!! It was so kewl I'm going to keep it for ever and ever LOL. Shame you couldnt give it Ms. Fisher but i will treasure it !!

How much is the paper? Ill refund you for the hole you have to cut in it LOL. I'll photocopy it for the others or they can pester ppl to cut holes in their papers too! lol

Yeah i hope it will get bigger here too - getting supplies is a pain in the bottom sometimes! I liked the idea of a showcase simply because i didnt even get to see half of the ppls costumes properly to appreciate them ! Only from the photos on here have i seen how good some of your costumes are. A Showcase would just be 2 mins where everyone can look at you and your costume and take a picture. I'd love seeing everyone personally

They were from the UK garrison RB - The one of them is one of the guys who had their photo taken with me at Mem. They are really nice. I dont know the chaps name who pinched your bum but he had a cute smile

My hair used to be long enough to do it but i got really annoyed and chopped half of it off LOL. So i used a ponytail hair piece which i tied onto my own ponytail then i tied in my hair with fabric bands in sections all the way down. I wouldnt be able to do it on my own you really need a helper to pull the ponytail through the bands because its so long. It seemed to work much better than usual because of my helper tying it for me but it is quite heavy and restricts your neck a bit especially when you have a backpack on thats in the way too lol. The ponytail i got was about $15 from America - its only synthetic hair and it tangles quite easy. Raiderbabe got her ponytail as a plait i think and she undid it - i think that was just from an every day costume shop here in the UK. Hope that helps :)

Ive posted a little thing in the Costume Photos thread i made about a site im going to do so everyon can show off their creations! So everyone can see how hard everyone worked - if your interested the details are in that thread i dont want to double post again lol

LOL!!!!! It was so strange when i saw some of the people who were dressed up in 'normal' clothing later on that night hehe. I spent most of the time going - 'ooooh you have girl hair!' I know about all the costume stuff but im sort of lucky in that i know my sewing is rubbish so i havent tackled any 'dress' type things before now. I would LOVE to do an elven dress but im going to have to brush up on my skills LOL. Those furs for the legs alone on black cat took me at least a week to sew LOL. I had to cut strips out of white wigs and sew them with shearing elastic onto a thick piece of elastic in about 6 layers. Then sew more fur ontop. Then they were too big and didnt stretch anyway so i had to sew MORE elastic inside the elastic! (see im having a relapse even talking about it LOL) Really hats off to anyone who sewed more than 2 things on their costume - glue is my friend! lol

YES Nickwise!!! It was your costume!!!! (I remeber your badge hehehe) Your costumes was one of the ones i noticed that i thought should have been in the Comp for sure. Just all the detail on it was great.

Awww thanx! hehe Well there were soo many costumes!!! I dont think i had a good look at all of them but i loved spidermans of course hehe I liked the girl with no arms! hehe - she looked like she'd spent ages getting ready. I thought legolas was really well put together very detailed (shame it wasnt Orlando Bloom though /grin ) All the people from Raiderquest looked tops!!!! (had to mention my buddies :) ) On Sunday i really loved ROTK Frodo who won! Also there was a sam with pots and pans and a sewn backpack that i thought was GREAT! I liked Theo of Rohan also his was very good work :) Id really love there to be a showcase next event - even if there is no competition so i can see everyone costumes properly :)
