  1. I think a harmony show would be funny.
  2. Ralph Macchio would be a cool guest. I thought he's put a lot of weight on?

  4. Just what I was going to suggest but I don't think moviemarket has Next Gen 8x10's.
  5. Ok. Sorry got dumb head on today. I didn't know if that was diffrent if you got banned that you werent allowed to come here at all or somthin.
  6. You should probably be able to answer that for yourself. Fox Why? I don't understand.
  7. Here are the answers to your questions : 1). Yes I do understand the point you are making! However, the ultimate answer is that we will continue to bring LOTR guests to our shows for as long as we choose. How long that is, and many we bring, will be determined by many factors that are our business and no-one else's. We listen to the fans, whether they be in the majority or minority, but ultimately decisions about how we run our events, and why we do things the way we do are down to us. We put the work in, we take the financial risk, and we decide. We are not perfect, and sometimes we get things wrong, but again that is down to us, and we learn from it, as we do everything. Why not run a seperate LOTR event and have all the LOTR guests there you ask? Well, because there are only so many hours in the day! Because even if we did we would still bring LOTR guests to Collectormania and London Film and Comic Con, and we choose to make these people that appeal to a wide cross-section of the public available to a wide cross-section of the public. Our aim with Collectormania was always to bring the stars to the public. That is not just the hard core collecting community, but the general public aswell. For too many years events like this have been seen as geeky or specialist, and if nothing else, I think that Collectormania has proved that it does not need to be that way. Ultimately, if you do not like the way that Collectormania, or for that matter, any of our events are run, then you do not have to come. That is not a personal dig, but just a fact. Yes you can give your opinions as to how you would like to see things changed, and we have no problem with that, and we do listen to them. However, you need to equally not have a problem with the fact that we may not agree with, or decide to act on anything that you say. That is not to say that we won't, but again, it is our decision. 2). There are many reasons for getting specific guests to specific events. Again, why we do it is our business. However, you need to realise that often there are reasons that we cannot disclose to you, or anyone else. On the other hand, there are also more practical reasons that I thought were reasonably obvious. In the case of Lord of the Rings we have just had another film out. Andy Serkis for example played quite a mjor part in that movie, and it is not inconceivable that people who have met him before, may now want to again. He will have new images to sign, he is also being joined at London by Thomas Robins, ( Deagol ), and so makes an excellent guest for a double signed image. Andy is also available at that time, which may not be the case later in the year, and also LFACC is a new event that will atrract new people, as well as those who have attended our Collectormania events before. Whilst you may have seen Andy, or just not care about seeing him in the first place, we believe that at London there will be many people who have never met him, or wish to do so again due to the new film. There is another major reason for bringing Andy back that I cannot disclose, but maybe by the show it will be obvious! As to getting new guests, as a general rule I agree with you. New guests are good. However, I would argue that in the past couple of years we have brought you more new, high quality first time guests than anyone else. This is obviously an opinion, and if you don't agree that's fine, but we feel that we are doing the best job we can. If it is not good enough, and no-one else is doing better, then maybe in the future you, or someone else will come along and run the perfect event. So, there are the answer to your questions. I have no idea whether you will like the answers, or whether you feel they are adequate, but at the end of the day, those are the answers, and they are at least adequate, because they come from me. If you agree and can see our point of view, great. If you don't, or can't, then that is also your perogative. However, I have spent all the time I am going to on this subject and am going to get back to working on the event that hopefully many people will enjoy. I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that supports our events. We try to do our best for you, and hope that you will continue to enjoy the shows in the future. Without people attending our events there would be no events, and I think that is a statement that no-one can argue with! Mark Can he actually still read this now that you've banned him? And if not was there any point in writing it? Just a thought.
  8. Must admit my boyfriend and I found it boring too, and people walked out of our cinema as well.
