You know they always say about don't meet your heroes as they won't live up to your expectations, Ian went above and beyond! He was everything I wanted him to be and more! It was only my second con, I booked last year to meet him then he cancelled and I was gutted, but Sunday made up for it. He was so friendly and chatty to everyone and as someone said above, it totally didn't feel like a conveyor belt (Tom Felton, I'm looking at you). I couldn't believe that he was in front of me and when it got to be my turn I got completely tongue-tied and couldn't speak!! After the photo and we still had our arms around each other he asked me if I was happy and I said that I was and I loved him and he thanked me for all the love! I nearly burst into tears walking to the talk, so amazing! Then after the talk, we saw him come out and he made a point of coming over to my son and fist-bumping him, we didn't even try to talk to him, thought he would just walk by!! Then when it came to the huge queue for the Auto, we were lucky and had batch 6 so we got seen quite quickly really! He was still so chatty then, even when the staff said no chit chat, there's no shutting him up!! Loads of yap on him!! I apologised for fangirling all over him previously and he said it's fine, took my hand and rubbed it and said that he loves it! After more fist bumps etc, we were on our way! I'm so glad I listened to everyone on here about getting a Diamond Pass cause without it I wouldn't have got to do the auto, so thank you everyone!! Ian is just a dream come true! I keep looking at the picture and can't believe that it's us two together!! Best day ever and such a lovely bloke!!!

HI, Me and my son have a Diamond Pass for Ian Somerhalder and Tom Felton. Where do we pick up the Diamond Pass from? Also, do we need to get VQ's if we have a Diamond Pass? TIA So Excited!!!!

Will there be an excel version at all? I wanted to edit it so that i could just have the people who i'm seeing on there if that makes sense?

Sorry i'm getting really confused, when i went last year i decided to get Paul Wesleys Auto so i had to queue downstairs to pay for it then back up to the queue to get it. Is that cause i was paying by card?

So that will mean queuing to pay for the auto and then queuing to get it? I have a Diamond pass for Ian Somerhalder on the Sunday, what would be the best way to do it? Get there really early and queue for the auto first and then carry on with the day?

My son wants to get his autograph, do i have to buy that on the day? TIA

Yeah, well that's what I was thinking, last year I kept seeing posts on facebook saying that tickets for certain days were getting low. Chances are i'll get them after pay day.

True, i will obviously buy the tickets, but just a bit closer to the time

Thanks for your reply Raylenth. So with me having batch 6 i'm going to be late afternoon aren't i? Would that be for both the photoshoot and auto? Also, where do i pick up the pass from? Last year i didn't go for the DP. I know most of this will become a bit more simpler when the schedule is out, but i like to have a kind of plan in my head!

I finally bit the bullet and went for the DP on the Sunday. I got Batch 6 for my pass, what will that mean with regards to other people who haven't got the DP? Will batch 6 just be called at a later time?

But don't you get a print anyway that you get signed? It all seems a bit of an extra opportunity to get more money out of people to be honest! This year i managed to do everything that i wanted to without getting a diamond pass. I don't see that it's worth an extra £40. Usually when things are bundled together you get a better deal

I have a question about the diamond pass. What do you get for paying the extra? The photo is £65, autograph £65. Going on last years price for the talk that was £11 so that comes to £141, so what is the extra £40 for? Am i missing something?!?

When will the digital photos be available?? Its 2 months now!

I can't believe no one has commented about meeting Paul Wesley and Daniel Gillies! They were the only reason why I came, I've never been before, so I was a newbie! I don't know how some of you do it, our day was full and we only met them two!! First was my photo shoot with them both, when I saw them through the crack in the screens I couldn't talk, I couldn't believe they were right there, lots of 'oh my gods' were coming out of my mouth!!! When I got to my turn I said to Daniel 'can you just sandwich me please?' and he said 'I'll do whatever you bloody like!' had the photo done and he's right squeezed up by the side of my face, love it!! I don't think Paul said a word!! Next, I went to get Pauls signature, I couldn't think of anything cool to say so I said 'busy day?' and he said yeah! He spoke to my son who was dressed as Miguel from Coco and said 'cool facepaint dude' Noah loved that!! Then we went to the talk, I had my hand up to ask a question and didn't actually expect to get picked, I was shocked when the lady passed me the microphone!! I asked them what was their favourite version of their characters, not just good or bad, but before they were vampires, 1920s, Ripper Stefan etc? Paul just said 1920s Ripper Stefan and Daniel said the medieval times with his barbarian hair and went on for ages about how it was his real hair and he had to have a wig put on etc for his shorter hair. Was a brilliant answer! Then we queued for Daniels auto, when we got to the picture table there were no pics of him with long hair or with his suit, so I said to him 'there's no pictures of you with your barbarian hair' and he said 'no' so then I said 'there's' and he said 'not the suit!' so I said 'yeah but you look hot in your suit' so then he said 'Noah, tell your mum to quit the suit talk!!' Noah was so impressed meeting them, he's only 7 so has never watched The Vampire Diaries of The Originals, but he wants to go again next year!! Overall I think Daniel came across really well, Paul was nice, but he just didn't say much, either shy or I think someone said he was hung over! Either way, I loved meeting them both!!

So all photos that were taken at the weekend will be available to download soon? Is it best to keep an eye on this thread to see when they're available?
