I take it it's old? I'm sure I can dig it out from somewhere.
-
No but I must admit I'm definitely intrigued. I love odd films.

The things you do for art.

You were given your answer above. If you plan on selling it. I don’t care about my in person autographs being authenticated as like everyone says, I know it’s real but on the rare occasion I have bought one I always like to check the authentication. That’s the only use for it really. It’s proof.

New shoots announced over the last couple of days
Ravogd replied to Raylenth's topic in Destination Star Trek
Yes I see what you mean but I think that is just a poorly written tweet that has missed out Robin Curtis in the sentence. It does suggest there is a double shoot by the use of the word “together” but I think it’s a genuine mistake as it isn’t advertising any specific shoots just saying that there is the opportunity to get in costume shoots. -

I’ve not seen anything advertised about this. Nothing on the website, Facebook or twitter. Are you sure you’re not getting confused with the shoots above? They are both doing in costume shoots but only individual shoots. The trouble is they have used pictures of the actors in costume to announce these latest normal shoots and that seems to be causing confusion for some people. -
I loved Skyfall and it's utterly realistic portrayal of Scottish stately homes just off the A9 near Blair Atholl.

I wonder how much they'd have to pay Judi Dench to play M's corpse?
-
Yeah that's why I stopped requesting him too.

Yeah they were announced a few months ago. Also a few of the photoshoots have been available for a while too. Robin Curtis as Saavik for example was available as soon as she was announced. -

Oh good. Even more photo shoots for George to be away from his signing desk. I see a repeat of 2016 where he didn’t get to VQ’s until late on Sunday. Think I’ll grab him first thing this time. -
You need more cuddles. He didn’t get enough cuddles at LFCC. Everyone needs to give him more cuddles. He’s just desperate to be loved.

I loved KOTOR. The new game set to come out in a couple of months looks amazing as well. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Jedi:_Fallen_Order

I think you’ll love the NEC. It’s like the Olympia except with space. And no heat. And plenty of reasonably priced eating places. And easy access to public transport. And it’s 100% biggest attribute it’s not London!

Awesome. Sun, sea and six fingers on each hand. What’s not to like?

Don't knock it till you've tried it

Very happy with how this is shaping up now with Katy Manning (love how Katy added the wee face above the word "chess") and John Levene added today. Panicking now for the remaining classic series companions as I'm really getting low on space. Much as it would pain me I might remove Julien Glover to create room as he breaks my self imposed rule of classic Doctors and companions only (with an exception for Davros). It was a rush of blood to the head when I met him one year and had the board for others to sign.

Now with added Katy Speaking of Katy. She was incredible today. Took lesser granddaughter to the smaller con after greater granddaughter went to London and Katy clocked her straight away (dressed as Belle) and came right up to us before she'd even got to her desk (notice she is still carrying her coat). She did this another 2-3 times while we were in the queue coming out in-between signings to see Chloe again. It was amazing. I've met her many times and she never ceases to impress me with her energy and enthusiasm for the fans.

I’ve got a fan made 4K version of the original cinematic release (none of your 1996 new effects nonsense) to watch. It was made from a genuine film print of the movie and looks incredible.

Oooh lucky you. Where are you off to?

A few from Christopher’s talk. I particularly liked his Mickey Mouse shoes

John Levene on Series 10 Blu-ray, Katy to follow tomorrow. Both also to be added to the Dr Who chess set tomorrow Sarah Sutton. Still kicking myself for sticking with the purple, was going to shift to the yellow or red but thought it would be ok. It’s fine as I have her auto from many meetings but still annoyed at myself. Legend. So happy to finally get his auto after missing him at so many other events. This was brilliant. When I got to John he was having a conversation with Derrin Nesbitt and Garrick Hagon. Then their coffees arrived and it was great to just chat with these 3 legends. I love how John puts his jacket on to get selfies. A proper gent. Oh this pic was taken by Garrick too so that was a fun little bonus I’ll always remember when I look at it.

I don’t have a problem with them changing the schedule. This happens all the time and they do warn you that it could change at any time. It should be used to plan but you always need to be aware of this. It can change for any number of reasons, guests needing to leave early/arrive late for example. There’s nothing they can do. The talks usually clash with photo shoots but they are normally free talks and that’s just the way it goes. The point I was making was that they have all day to fit in all the photo shoots and the one paid talk that (let’s face it) most of the attendees coming to meet guests will be going to, gets scheduled against about 65% of the other guests photoshoots. Quite often at bigger shows there will be many clashes of paid talks and shoots, it’s inevitable. It’s just that here it could quite easily be avoided. You can still do the talks you’ll just need to leave for 10 mins or so to get your shoots. Most shoots in Glasgow are over in a few minutes and the photoshoot is close to the talk area so you can just come back in when your shoot is done
