I agree but I don't want showmasters to cancel the Sheffield film and comic con after this one The best way to ensure it doesn't get cancelled is to tell everyone about it. The more people go, the more guests they get and if even more people go the more likely it is to get bigger and better guests. I get what you're saying, but I think realistically its the more guests they get, the more people go.

I've sent another email anyway, but if SM sees this can it be possible to add him to the pre-orders site please as I really would love to send so etching in for him to sign. Cheers.

The vouchers are a nightmare. I bought £200 of them for Christmas. All cool expect they all came in £20 values, and yeah some folks will give change and others will abject refuse. I have tried explaining - even the vouchers have "treat as cash" printed on them - but just ends up being a waste of time. Been having trouble using them as I tend to be the £15 value guest. Anyway, a lesson for the future. I doubt I'll buy them again. Back on topic. I enjoyed my day. Further proved to myself that as someone who doesn't do photos, the gold pass is certainly something I will never need - all the VQ tickets I needed, I got - and I had my 14 autographs done by about half one. That included queuing up for about half an hour to get a sketch done by the fantastic Carlos Ezquerra. I thought a good job by SM (past the voucher issues). Only small niggle is that although it was cool having the GOT guests in the same area for ease, it perhaps wasn't wise having them on opposite sides of the aisle. By the time you had queues forming on both sides and meeting in the middle you were just cutting off all access. So yeah, much better than last year. Look forward to Winter con. Whenever that is announced.

He was just brilliant. Honestly surprised at how friendly he was. Signed my poster, added a quote when I asked if that would be okay. Absolute dude.

Looking at the ad, with this being owned by an individual I would be frankly amazed if we're allowed to even touch it, let alone sit on it. Will keep the fingers crossed.

Perhaps I missed something, but has there been any word of a Winter London event this year? I know last year it wasn't in London, but still we had the event. I wondered if perhaps they weren't announcing anything until the Summer event was over? I can't remember when it was announced last year?
