  1. The Hogwarts prop shoot was pretty bad tbh, it was worth a miss. It was a green screen with a really low quality Chamber of Secrets image imposed behind.
  2. I know you can't give us info. But SM can, and could of when this was brought up 'over recent months', yet have chosen not to. Sepia ia simple to remove and probably won't be done on camera but they need to clear this up for us.
  3. It was mentioned once in one post. It wasn't in Lloyds announcement post, nor in the store. I found out months after I bought my pass for Lloyd. Why do we not have info already if this is possible to have the sepia filter taken off? It's really ridiculous to ask us to find out on the day.
  4. I can only echo what you are saying GrandmasterA. I knew it was a clock photo in my package, there wasn't any changing about that...but then I found it was sepia. The only place it was mentioned to be a sepia photo was on ONE topic/announcement out of hundreds. It wasn't on the store or the LFCC Page. Infact, there's a section on the LFCC page that states photos are full colour (ironically). I emailed SM and received no response back about it, so I've had to spend another £35 on a standard photo, I understand not everyone can do this. I can't understand why the sepia can't be added AFTER: sepia is a simple filter to add on anything - Photoshop, Instagram, even webpages do it - but to remove sepia and return the colour is near impossible. Even the idea to have photos printed in Sepia but added on the store in full colour is something i implore SM to do, but no response. At least then we could crop/add the filter ourself if we wanted instead of having it forced upon us.
  5. A general side suggestion really... Any chance of us getting someone good to host the panels in the future?
  6. That's not really clear to me either... It says if I wanted a photo with a guest I have a diamond pass for then I can buy one separate, (which I already have) "but you will be called first in pass number order". Not everyone has a pass for Lloyd, you'll have people in who've bought that shoot who are diamond, and those who aren't. Even though this specific shoot isn't included in the pass, it's with the guest we have a pass for and the email implies that we'd have either a separate queue or called up before the regular ticket holders in pass number order. Is this right? or am I totally misreading that part of the email? Thanks,
  7. Hi, I've just received an email with the dates all the things for diamond passes are on, and there's something that I need to ask about. I have a Christopher Lloyd diamond pass, meaning I get a photo with him and the 1885 clockface included, but I've also booked separately a regular photoshoot with him. The email I just got says: OTHER PHOTO SHOOTS WITH THE GUEST YOU HAVE A DIAMOND PASS FOR: You will need to buy a ticket for the photo shoot, but you’ll be called first in pass number order. Does this mean that because I have the diamond pass for this guest I wont need to queue up in a main queue/will be fast-tracked to the front for the regular session? Thank you! :)
  8. Thank you! My friend is sat next to me in the talk, as we ordered together so I'll do my best to keep it out the way of others (bar him) and it won't be out for long. :) Just a normal camera and an attachable lens for zooming in on really far away photos. No, I'm not with a newspaper - but who knows...maybe in a few years
  9. Hi, I have been studying Photography at A-level this year, and as part of my portfolio for University next year I want to show a variety of techniques: one of them being event photography. I have a diamond pass for Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd and for Michael Gambon all of which involve talks - I was wondering what the rules are on photography - I'm assuming it's only within the first five minutes with flash, but what about without? And are there limits on camera/lens size?, as I would like to use a normal, and a telescopic lens for a few minutes (it's quite long). And the same questions for outside of the talks - when in the main halls are there any limits on lens sizes? Thank you! :) Tom
  10. Nice! But the wording on this post just stresses me out even more. If i've bought a photoshoot...it should be guaranteed, irregardless of how long I wait.
  11. I've just put my list together for the whole weekend so far (and the ones highlighted are the extra ones my friend has on top of the ones I have). Bold means they've not announced what date it's on yet - unless it has, in which case can someone correct me? 13. It's a photoshoot. I'm aware and don't care if they didn't have colour in 1885, if people want it sepia they can do afterwards and make it accurate. To force the sepia on people who want (as advertised I'd add) a colour photo...isn't fair. I can fully understand why people want it in sepia, but you're not then giving this choice to the people who don't.
  14. I just can't see how it's better than colour. Sepia can be done by anyone afterwards, you can't add colour to sepia and have a good result without Photoshop talent. And having no option at all is even worse. The fact that my photo with CL will be sepia and I have no choice to see it in colour (even if it were afterwards on the store).
  15. I've just taken a look at them and yep - they're sepia. I am really disappointed and feel mislead. There wasn't any mention it was going to be sepia (or even feature the showmasters logo). Lloyd was announced and on sale in December, these photos of the clocktower weren't taken till after then, so I can't see how that could even be a logical suggestion for knowing when purchasing. It's something people can do afterwards (sepia effect) easily, but people who want a full colour (as advertised) photo can't re-add that colour afterwards. Can there not be an option that the photos from this shoot when added to the store are in colour so at least we have a choice (or vice-versa)? Otherwise I think I'll need a contact number to ring and speak to someone about it. I have never felt so let by Showmasters and I just don't want it to start now.
  16. I can guarantee you at the time of purchase it wasn't advertised as such. People are even questioning it today if it were green screen or not so the clarification on this has been really poor. I am very disappointed that it is sepia, where is it "advertised as such?" The only clarification I could ever find on photoshoots was on the showmasters website, where it states "Your picture will be a 6” by 9” colour photo (not an inkjet print) and will be ready for collection almost immediately." If this didn't apply - it should of been stated before the time of purchase.
  17. As much as some may like it, I really hope the photograph is full colour and not sepia/with any effects. In fact, when you buy tickets for photos it states they will be full colour inkjet - so if it isn't it hasn't stuck to that. It's a simple thing to do afterwards if you want it, but for those who don't want it they have no alternate. As for props like hats...I really wanted just a normal photo with CL, but this was the only option in the diamond pass and I wasn't willing to spend even more...I just want it to be as normal as possible, with the clock face featured to be honest.... and I really don't hope Showmasters add their logo in the corner to the shoot like they did with the TARDIS console shoots with Paul McGann, it kinda spoiled it.
  18. You may be able to queue together for an autograph, but I'm not sure. To have a photo with guests you each need a ticket/diamond pass so for you to both get in the same photo (taken twice) you will both need one each, not just one ticket for you both.
