Got Olivia Cooke and Kit Harington yesterday!

Just wanted to put this out there. The crew members manning Olivia's autograph queue on Saturday, which was very out of hand and growing too long, were incredibly calm and professional and kind. I was second to last in the queue when they decided to cut it off until it went down a little so I was talking to them a bit and got to see them turn people away, repeatedly explaining that the queue was currently closed and to try again later. Most people were understanding of this but one couple in particular stood out to me because they were instantly argumentative, waving their diamond passes around and shouting that they should be allowed into the queue and that this was ridiculous, bla bla bla. The guy behind me just stood his ground and repeated what he'd already told them, the queue needed to go down and then they could join. When I was nearer the front of the queue and they opened the line back up again, the couple showed up again and the man started shouting about how it wasn't fair that other people were getting to join the queue before them (you both wandered off and came back, of course people would join ahead of you in that case... you're not special, guy). I don't think I would have kept my cool if I was in charge of running the queues, so I just wanted to shoutout to those guys because they did a really good job trying to keep things calm and fair in a very stressful queue. And another shoutout to the guy running Olivia's photoshoot queue. My summer ticket rolled over but no longer had the batch info attached, so when I went to the AM shoot I was told I'd have to come back in the afternoon. Fair enough. Came back for the PM shoot and the guy there told me that without batch info, I'd have to wait until the end of the shoot, but if I could find the original batch info he'd see what he could do. So I found the original confirmation email from when I purchased the original ticket for summer, which showed I was in batch 2, and when I showed him he said I could go queue up with the batch 1s after the diamonds and golds had gone through. He didn't have to do that, and I was expecting him to just tell me to wait for batch 2 to be called so I really appreciated that he did that! Also sales desk staff were great, helped me sort out my Tony Todd photoshoot ticket with no issues. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and professional yesterday!

Thank you! I got a few photos of her during the signing. My favourite is the one where I give her the gift bag I've had ready for her since July. Her face when I tell her she's getting sweets and Lush stuff and a necklace (for some reason I had to gesture a lot to communicate this) -

Is she here? I can't find her. -
Oh that's a shame!

Didn't cosplay in the end.
-
Superstore cast would be great Ben Feldman, America Ferrera, Mark McKinney, Lauren Ash, all of them!
-
If there's still time, PLEASE get Ewan Mitchell or Emma D'Arcy.

I haven't cosplayed in years, and it's harder to do it when arriving via public transit (at least it is for me as I get very self conscious) but I'm toying with the idea of getting a cowgirl Barbie costume for this one... thoughts? My main concerns are wearing this on public transport, wearing this in winter, and my body shape is VERY far off from Margot Robbie's. On the other hand I wouldn't need a wig and I could probably pull it off minus the hat, and I do miss the attention from cosplaying. I'm very 50/50 on it right now.

Finally, belatedly, able to watch Saw X... My expectations were astoundingly low after the disappointments of Jigsaw and Spiral. Oh, my god. Saw X is truly worthy of all the hype it's getting. This is what I've been missing since Saw 3D. THIS is the plot based drama I've been craving. Tobin Bell's performance? Shawnee Smith? The quality of the traps? The quality of the movie overall? The mid credits scene? 10/10 holy hell I never thought I'd say this but they actually did it, they actually pulled off a Saw sequel-but-actually-its-a-prequel and made it work.

I'm so so so excited for him -
Finally got around to watching the live action remake of The Little Mermaid. Oh, my god. 10/10. I had chills most of the way through it. I know we're sick of Disney churning out remakes but this made up for all the disappointments they've put out over the years.

Heart of Stone. Gal Gadot was the only good thing about it, and even she wasn't good enough to make the film worth watching.
-
John C. McGinley

Saw Barbie last night. 100% absolutely loved it. Makes the hate against it seem even funnier now that I've seen it myself.

People have always expressed disappointment over guests on here, I think the difference is that there used to be active moderators to curb too much complaining. Those mods were also responsible for a lot of the type topics. This place never really bounced back after Queen Sindel's departure for example.
