Have to say Samuel was the highlight of the weekend for me. Such a nice and nutty hilarious person. Was so glad I got his auto and photo. Top guy. -

Will photo shoot tickets be going on sale for Terry Molloy on the online store and a second batch for Charlotte Hope? -
Colin Morgan and Gemma Chan would have me there in a heartbeat

Just over three weeks to go....
grantweiler replied to grantweiler's topic in Film and Comic Con Glasgow 2015
Well i've just put together my list of what im doing on both days and the first time ever im not at both days until around 12pm. Quite seriously disappointed at how sparse this event is looking this year. Is this one being wound down or something? -

All I can hope for is that like Sheffield this has guests announced in the week leading up to the event. There is a suspicious TBA in the talks sections on both days. -
Six more guests were announced after the Sheffield schedule came out. Hopefully we'll get the same treatment but I'm not holding my breath.

What is happening with this one? It started so well and I was amongst those actively promoting it but the last couple of months hasn't seen the guest total increase at all and as mentioned before the event is around 11 guests short of last year. I thought this event was being grown - not reduced -
And still 11 guests short of last year

Over a month since an entertainment guest announcement. Will Simpson is more artist based so doesn't really count. This had a solid bunch of guests to start with but seems to have been forgotten about lately. -
I thought Showmasters were trying to grow this event? Last year there was just over 30 entertainment (aka non wrestling, artists etc) at this event and at present there is 21. Im loving the already mentioned line up but I have a friend who has gone with me the last three years and so far no one is tempting her to come. I know guests can be announced right up to the event but isnt it getting a bit late on in the day now?

How many guests did you get to meet
grantweiler replied to jakers77777's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I managed 23 photo shoots including Iain and Rose plus the BTTF Cast talk and Iain Glen + Catherine Tates autographs across the Saturday and Sunday. Didn't fully recovered until the Tuesday. To say I was knackered and in a lot of exhausted pain is an understatement. Glad I managed to do it all though and I'm obviously more fitter than I thought I was. -
Put everything related on the one floor. Ground: Merchants 1st: Photo Area 2nd: Autographs 3rd: Talks Going up and down between floors for photo shoots that in some cases were 5 minutes apart was brutal

I only got a photo at the DeLorean but have to say what a guy. Always smiling and shaking everyone's hand in the shoot. A pleasure

guest day cancellation - Carice Van Houten
grantweiler replied to showmasters's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Some of these comments are horrendous. I about collapsed and was sick at one point due to the over heated Saturday arena. Carice was fine with me and I understand how she would have felt considering my own personal health as the day went on. From what I've heard she is normally fine at other cons but the conditions in that arena in my opinion have more than likely been the cause. A lot of people were struggling that day. Poor Maimie McCoy who is pregnant had to sit down a lot and considering her condition I have to applaud her for even coming (have to say though Maimie was absolutely lovely). It was Michael Gambon that I really felt for - he looked absolutely destroyed by the end of that punishing day. Very much the hardest convention conditions wise I have ever done so I'm not surprised Carice landed up the way she did - leave her alone. -
The Rose Leslie appreciation thread.

I'd say Rose, Iain and all three of the Musketeers cast were my favourites to meet. -

She was lovely to me in my photo shoot. The only gripe I have is that she made me feel impossibly ugly as she is so seriously pretty lol. Hope she feels better soon.
