  1. Did you get to drive?! Or just got to sit in the cabin? So lucky!! Just sit! They wouldn't let you drive them (I don't even know if that's possible.) Besides, I have no driving license, so all in all it would have been a veeeeery bad idea Haha, good point. Gotta protect Optimus!! Very awesome, though. I didn't realise you could sit in them. Actually you couldn't sit in them. I made use of my Press pass to ask if it would be possible to see them closer, and the folks there were incredibly nice, even letting me inside. But again, this was just an exception! Well lucky you! That was one way to get in there! Haha. So cool. Yes, on the Transformers Facebook page they've said they were driving it all around Europe, and to take pics to be entered into a competition or something. Very cool stuff!

  4. Were they Loki both days because I know of someone that was on the Saturday but was Captain Jack Sparrow on the Sunday? As far as I'm aware, he was Loki on just the Saturday, plain clothes on Sunday, though I didn't see him until maybe after 3:30/4pm, so he might've been cosplaying earlier in the day on Sunday. Not this one then? Pretty sure he was still Jack at 4pm. https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/t1.0-9/10347711_507085552754932_5086419909700301386_n.jpg Nope, not him, but I like the pic! Thanks for that :-) The Loki I'm thinking of had his headpiece on, but I don't remember seeing a staff. However, as it was so busy at the table, I may well have just missed it completely. It's great to see others' interpretations of the characters as well, though!

  6. Is this the guy you are talking about?Nope, but thanks for that, that's a great pic, and with Black Widow! I didn't see either of them, but I had thought there would be more Lokis wandering about. Nice to see another one!
  7. I haven't seen anyone mention him yet, but there was an absolutely fantastic Loki walking around on Saturday. I was stuck at the Comic Zone info booth all weekend, so not sure if there were any others moseying about, but I could seriously have mistaken him for Tom Hiddleston's Loki. Awesome, very pleasant guy that came up again a few times on the Sunday as well, I just didn't catch his name as the booth got so busy! Would love to see if anyone got some photos, though, so I can show everyone who doesn't believe me! Haha :-P
  8. It was actually a Souvenir Booklet, but was announced as a programme. It's actually a pretty awesome booklet with loads of info about the guests and Stan Lee. The prize draw was an awesome idea, too, just a shame so much of the info about it got lost in translation during the madness of the event.

  10. The talks for Dave Gibbons will be in the Comic Stage Area in the main EC2 hall, but everything else will be in the Comic Zone in EC1-BH, and yes, open queue. Anyone is welcome to get anything signed from him, but please be aware of the time constraints, as he will only have a little while after the talks. :-)

  13. Autographs from Comic Zone guests are generally free, though the prices for artwork/sketches, etc. are at the guest's discretion (though Dave Gibbons will only be signing for this event). You do no have to attend the talk to get his autograph, though please keep in mind that he will have until the end of the event for signings after the panel and interview. All Comic Zone Panels are free (except for Stan Lee), and seats are taken on a first come, first served basis, so there are no virtual tickets.
  14. For any comic fans attending the convention, feel free to follow us on Twitter @LFCCComicZone as we will be tweeting updates on guest talks, pictures, info etc. for the Comic Zone area. We'll generally be using the '#LFCC' hashtag, but we'd love to see your own tweets and photos, so feel free to send us your tweets, or use the #LFCCComicZone tag so we can follow them. The Comic Zone is also on Facebook, and the same tags will be used on there as well, but we will mainly be updating the twitter feed throughout the weekend.
  15. I agree, hopefully at future shows there will be a wider variety of guests and some popular comics people of today, from yes DC, plus Marvel and Image. Thanks for that feedback. We'll definitely take that into consideration and try our best to get a more varied guest line-up. So glad you got to meet her; she really is lovely! But yes, do keep an eye on the CZ Twitter and Facebook feeds; we were live-tweeting throughout the event with photos, updates and time schedules, and any questions will try to be answered through there as well.
  16. I met her on the Saturday to get my Gunslinger #1 signed - A real highlight as she couldn't attend the Summer con due to a family emergency Robin Furth was announced as attending the Saturday only. Here's the Tweet from the official LFCC Comic Zone Twitter page: https://twitter.com/...235033705639936, and quite a few others were only announced as Satuday guests, which was why so many tables were empty on the Sunday. We appreciate all feedback though, and will do our utmost to improve all future events, so keep suggestions and criticisms coming (though please, don't be too hard on us...we can only deal with so much at a time, and there's only four of us that have to try and be everywhere and know everything at once). Problem may have arisen because on the main LFCC site it's saying she was there both days - To be fair that is what I went by and didn't even know there was a Comic zone feed. Not really a comic person myself and she was the only one I knew, though I will be trying to spend more time with the artists in the future. That's true. It was also announced on the forums here that she would be attending both days, so I can see where things went wrong. There are so many different guest announcements, and days certain guests are attending that there's bound to be mistakes. It's just unfortunate that others were effected by them. There is, however, a Comic Zone Twitter feed (http://www.twitter.com/LFCCComicZone), and there's a Facebook page, also (http://www.facebook.com/LFCCComicZone) for future reference.

  19. That would be me! How do you crazy kids. I did try to dinf you on Sunday to say goodbye but I think I may have just missed you. Tried looking for you on facebook but to no avail so maybe you'll have better luck finding me. You can't miss me. Jack Henry Jeckel Ansell =) Speak to you soon Awesome, I'll add you now! Thanks for that! :)
  20. If it's the Jack I'm thinking it is, I'll drop him a line on Facebook and send him in this direction. Thank you muchly!! At purple, it is the Jack you're thinking of. And Nadine, he did remember you and Missy but due to miscommunication/misundetanding he didn't get to see you to say goodbye. He did get told how much of a good time you had though and got given your thanks. Aww, that's great, thank you for letting me know, Shaggy! Much appreciated!

  22. Sorry, I don't know who the lego guy was, but my sister is in the background there. It made me smile!
  23. Looking for Jack, who was one of the crew members in a blue shirt over the weekend. My sister (Missy) and I (Nadine) met him on Friday as he was giving out autograph sheets and pens and saw him each day of the event but unfortunately didn't get to say goodbye to him before we were ushered out of the place. Anyone who knows him that can let him know I'd really appreciate it! :-)
  24. I had a fantastic experience with all of the crew at the event - they were brilliantly helpful and kind. Major shout out to Jack (unknown last name), who I had running back and forth time and again on Friday night with a constant barrage of questions from my sister and I (and was a gem every time we saw him again throughout the event!). Arranged to say goodbye to him late Sunday evening but unfortunately the security guard wouldn't let my sis (Missy) or I (Nadine) back in, so we left word with some of the other crew who were fab about it. Another huge shout out goes to Mike Conroy who put together the comic artists' section for the event & was a great laugh. Really helpful and kind, and was a pleasure to work for on the Sunday trying to sort out re-scheduled comic zone talks! Thank you to everyone at the event; I can't wait to meet you all again at another!
  25. Hey Comic Fans! Tomorrow, Sunday 8th July; the Comic Artists that have been holding talks for this year's LFCC are holding FREE special events for comic fans. While it was announced that these would be cancelled over the weekend... if we can get enough people together who are interested in learning about how the Comic Artists draw then the events will not only be free but some will personally chat to you and answer some of your questions! If these events don't happen then many of the artists won't return next year. Let's show them our appreciation and learn something awesome in the process! - Missy & Dini
