Due to work, unable to be an early bird so had 11am entry tickets (in at 11:16). For the 1st time took my wife, to meet David Hewlett and T J Thyne. Went straight to them for virtual tickets, david was no333 and TJ 354. I myself wanted to meet George A Romero (ticket no 450).
Very disappointed with the virtual tickets system (as many before). Around 3pm went to see David Hewlett as allowing up to ticket 350 only to be turned away as he was leaving at 3:50 and told that I possibly wouldnt see him unless I stood in the queue and waited for his return. Then went to T J Thyne, virtual ticket up to 270, crew member stated that I wouldn't get to meet him as he wasn't going to change the queue number for awhile and only up to 300.
To me, the whole show seemed like a fiasco. The crowding when going in was terrible, and once inside the temperature was uncomfortable for some.
It seems like Showmasters never learn from their mistakes of previous shows.
on a plus side, the cosplayers were cool as usual.
