  1. Oh don't bother to try and find the post, I believe you! Yeah I guess I forgot there are always pricks who do things their way, it's a shame for the others... I read my latest post and I think I can seem a little harsh and might offense people, but really I'm just all about the memories, I'm a photographer I just feel the *need* to capture every single moment. And note to all people putting the flash on to avoid yellow tinting: BLAH, flash is even worse. White balance is the key!
  2. Its nothin t do with `proving` i had the autograph as such, its just nice to have a photographic memory of the star signing too. The posed photos which you can buy tickets for are all well and good but they are over within a split second and your told to move on. At least with an autograph you get a little bit more time. Nice to see people are getting my point. It's not about the proof or anything, it's more like capturing the instant where the guest is signing the photo (or whatever) you will keep forever. In the end you'll have your autograph and a solid memory of the precise time of the guest signing it. And about slowing the queue, I get why there could be a "no posed photo" sign, it's the "no photo" sign that I don't get. It's not slowing the queue to take a guest from a distance signing autos. And I can't see any value to these photos for tabloids or anything (but this might be cause I'm french, there are no such things as nasty brits tabloids here because of our laws on personal image)... However I do understand the problem of headaches, as I don't stand light myself when I have one, and I didn't think of it when I posted. But you still can take a photo with no flash on (I think there must be enough light in the venue to do so). It's just frustrating not to get as much memories as you could when you meet someone you'll probably never see again. And to be honest, I don't think actors (or singers or anyone famous for that matter) are normal people, they've chosen a career where their image is public. They're successful partly because of their fanbase, I think it's not much accepting to have their photo taken if it can please fans, especially since it's no effort from them and that no harm is done. (yeah ranting about previous experiences sorry)
  3. Please do, so you won't give us the sad face look!
  4. I believe it's anyone who passes Too Tall's knee Thanks for the plan, really appreciated
  5. A bit off topic but I never got why some people don't want their photo to be taken. They've got nothing to do and it makes their fans happy. An autograph is quite expensive and if you can't have a pic of the guest signing it, it's just a piece of paper that could have been signed by anyone. Dunno, I guess I don't like divas..
  6. Sounds a bit scary Don't you know this threat was made for people who can't search?
  7. Ahhh I thought of bring one of these! It'll protect the photo from fingerprints and I'll put it in something more rigid not to fold the photo in my handbag! Thanks for your enlightenment!
  8. OMG I wanted to go there seeing I'm coming to London for the EMS, I sooooo entered, thanks SM for the opportunity
  9. Thanks to both Davids I'm off to convert the size of the photos from inches to cm to know what to bring!
  10. *hugs* Don't worry I've seen someone else asking that kind of question somewhere on this board, you're certainely not alone! They've been answered that the signs to the loo inside Earl's Court are hard to miss. Apparently we're quite a lot who are lucky enough to get panic attacks (T_T) and somewhat the thought of having toilets nearby is reassuring cause when you're queuing and drinking a lot well, it's nature, you don't sound like a 5 yo at all!
  11. Yay! And if you can collect your photo on the day, are they put in something, such as a cardboard (if you can't see what I mean, I'm talking about the thing they put photos on when you buy a photo from the London Dungeon or Tussaud's or the London Eye) or anything else? If they are given to us freely I'd better take something while preparing my luggage now! ^^
  12. Well I guess that makes sense that guests have a longer break but wow I'm wishing luck to all the busy bees that will be around, it's gonna be 2 tough days for them!
  13. A 5 minutes break between the 2 x 500 photos? Gosh I thought DT and the staff would get a longer break to rest and eat and stuff! Dunno how you guys will pull it off!
  14. Brilliant thank you! Brits rock ♥
  15. So VT, VQ and VQT are the same? Phew too many technical terms to handle, thanks for helping me sorting it out!
  16. Well no-one can blame you, we're all on the same boat! 10 days left!
  17. I thought of something last night and as I'm going to leave soon for London and might not be able to read the forum until the EMS, I'm gonna ask this now. Once we're in, can we get out (to get cash or simply get food or anything) and come back in or once we're in, exiting the EMS means you can't get in again? (not sure I'm making sense) This might seems dumb, but the second case applies to some conventions in France so
  18. 500+ is an understatement, there are 1,000 tickets Do you mean you've got 2 tickets? One under 500 and the other over 500? Cause if it's the case you can inform the staff and you'll only go to the first session to get your 2 photos taken at the same time. Apologize if it's not the case and that I got you wrong! Oh well seeing I'm 600-ish for DT, I guess I can buy a normal entry ticket, I'll save on the tube and on the EMS entrance, good news for me seeing how the £ pwns the €! =] Little quick question tho, will there be times for autograph sessions?
  19. Ahah no worries, I just hope your post won't jinx the credit card system
  20. More like 11 days? It was 13 days left 2 days ago, and now it's 15 I think you're getting overexcited ahah!
