Karen Gillan was an absolute star and Showmasters should DEFINITELY get her back again. She was friendly and very talkative, although unfortunately it was just two brief hello's from her to me. Here is the highlight of my weekend (other than being with my GF as well ) Showmasters, you would be fools not to have her back again!

I shouldn't be hard to miss either I'm the 5ft 6in Nymphadora Tonks from Harry Potter. So purple wig, and long snakeskin red jacket, probably with a very small field of vision as the bangs in my wig are so thick they keep falling forwards. I'll try and see you, no idea if I will or not

I've seen them Live in Orlando on the 13 November 2005 (Tainted day for all those that remember) Also seen them over here in the UK. Very good they do backstage and the wrestlers are friendlier and feel more relaxed as not presured by 'my way'Mcmahon!

This will be my first EVER convention, it is going to rule and I cannot wait, Despite how nervous I am about going. I want the autographs for the people in my signature so already know I shall be shelling out a bit but understandable with the talent I'll be seeing. I'm looking forward as well to doing my (minor) cosplay attempt and hope people recognise who I'm supposed to be lmao!

Sounds great. I'll be hoping for the following for the one I attend next time. Tony Stark, In the Ironsuit! Captain America, In Mask! Cyclops (X-Men1) If not, maybe throw a few disney in the mix!

I think the problem people have in these situations is they get far too worked up about meeting, talking to or being in contact with someone they've watched, admired and/or idolised. It's natural, it's not easy meeting your heroes and I've been very disappointed on one or two occasions (not at a Showmasters event I hasten to add) and I do get nervous and excited too but at the end of the day try to remember they are still just people. Some are outgoing, some shy, some will understand the effect they have and will try to put you at ease, some will actually feel uncomfortable about it and may seem more restrained, some will engage you in conversation, some you need to instigate a conversation with. I've worked with a band in the past (not a particularly big name before anyone asks but gained some popularity in the late 80's) and seen the same thing with some of their fans, but if you try and treat them as you would when meeting any other person you'll probably get a lot more out of the experience and be less nervous. Still feel excited etc but try not to let it take over. Again, thankyou. Think as you said, its the who aura of seeing someone I've watched on TV and really had a slight crush on. Its kind of crazy I know.

Cheers, it was my first time wearing contact lenses. So will definitely be thinking of doing it again, maybe do a Kellan Lutz in Twilight! Although, I'm straying away from bearded cosplay in the future, It has taken me almost 3 months just to grow a decent Tony Stark beard lmao.

If you do decide to do that let me know, I may go completely Marvel if I go next year, otherwise I may do MK next time. So far I've got the full Ironman Mk III suit in the works along with a BRAND NEW Captain America suit coming (Mask already on way) Although, may even do a cyclops one, although, I'd want a Jean Gray to go with, maybe someone here could tag along

As for the attention question, this will be my first time in official 'cosplay' and shall be doing tons more in the future money permitting. But having done lots of costuming before non-comic related I do enjoy the attention. See What I mean

This is my first ever Con and I definitely seem to be going to be going to the best one ever! Given me a huge bug for it, next year I shall be doing the FULL 3 days with Cosplay and all. Let's hope there are some Marvel/Disney freaks there!
