  1. *bump* Did anyone hear something? Andrea
  2. I like them both, in different ways and for different reasons. The books are much more well rounded stories, but the films are a great piece of escapeism and it's interesting the different twists that the various actors give to the characters. Andrea
  3. Ahh, that could kinda explain it. If she's moved she may not have sorted out her internet connection yet. Say Hi from me if you do manage to get hold of her Andrea

  8. Cheek of it! I dont care what you all think anyway, he was bad bad bad! The scars i agree with, him acting as Lupin no, you have to remember girls its not the look of the guy (cos he is ugly anyway) that makes the character come to life, its the "acting" and he was crap!!! Thats my final word *sticks tongue out at BHPF* I think us girls should all group up and bitch-slap Davey. Andrea

  15. Ah, I'm not a member. I'll have to sign up. I know Jason met quite a few people out there, that was one of the reasons for going after all! He was also involved in sorting out the signing sessions for Jake, Daniel, Ray, Kenny and gang so he probably did meet up with some of the other Star Wars/Lucasfilm people. Andrea

  18. Just found this news story on Yahoo about one of our previous Bond guests: Friday July 30, 10:55 AM Newcomer 'will get Rita out more' Former Bond girl Honor Blackman has vowed to put some zest back into the life of Coronation Street veteran Rita Sullivan when she arrives in Weatherfield. The actress, who played spam Galore alongside Sean Connery in 1964's 007 classic Goldfinger, is joining the cast in September. She plays flirty pensioner Rula Romanoff, who gets her claws into Street drip Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden). Her arrival comes as a shock to Norris's boss at the Kabin newsagents, Rita, an old rival from her days as a cabaret singer. But Honor, 77, promised that she would work some magic on Rita (Barbara Knox) by making her live a little. "I'm going to try and take Rita out of her shell," Honor says. "She is somewhat stuck in that corner shop, the Kabin. I have lived a much livelier life since we used to be friends. We used to sing together in a club when we were very young, and now I decide to get her out and make her live a little," the former Avengers star said. Honor says the call to join the ITV1 soap came out of the blue. "I was terribly surprised. I never thought I'd be in something like this and I never thought they would ask me," she says. "When I read the script I thought it was so much fun, and it's the best soap in the country." But the glamorous star admitted: "I've never got terribly dug into soaps because it means never getting anything done." Honor, who begins filming for her part next month, was speaking as she launched a new initiative at Tate Britain, an online quiz to test knowledge of art and culture in the Sixties.
