Hi Everyone,
I am posting on this forum for the first time and I'm sorry to say I haven't attended any previous or similar events in the past. My reason for posting however may (hopefully) be of interest to some of you...
Recently, a close friend passed away leaving behind a huge collection of X-Files memorabilia. It was a private collection probably only a limited number of people saw it in his lifetime. We as his friends and family are enquiring into exhibiting the collection so that the people most interested can see effectively his life's work of bringing all these things together.
I was recommended this expo as Gillian Anderson is attending and there is an X-Files auction (probably containing comparable items to that within this collection). My question to you all is - would this be the kind of thing people would want to see, esp at an event like this? Ultimately the collection would probably be for sale as one lot in respect of his wishes however this is further along the line. For now we are just trying to test the water and do the right thing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Oh and some taster items within the collection... Mulder's clipping of Tooms, Skinner's Tie, Prop X-Rays, about 30+ signed items, fbi cards, signed basketballs, polaroids....etc the list goes on really. Some amazing bits and pieces along with literally boxes and boxes of all the 'normal' stuff - mugs, clothing, watches, maglites etc etc.
Thanks
Jay

Seeing there is an X-Files exhibit happening at LFACC I would assume it is very likely this one. Hosie bumped a post that was almost 2 months old.
