not one for me,but a great guest for the fans.

This may be a quicker way of ticketing for those with smartphones etc(& save/make Showmasters money),but there are still some of us(mostly older) who still have older basic phones,so will have to rely on printing out emails (which then costs us money....).Not all of us yet base our lives around phones or tablets,although do use computers.We will get used to it, but it's another hassle!

How about cast from crime series',such as Elementary,NCIS,Law &Order,CSI.... From Star Trek,George Takei,Andrew Robinson,Marc Alaimo....

I usually go for the 8x10s,and sometimes try to find a pic of one of the actors' less famous roles,as it can make for interesting conversations!Posters are just too awkward to manage in crowded conditions.

Hi Jason...how about thinking about widening the genres from which you access guests?I've met lots of great guests from Trek,Who etc,(some more than once),you have lots of guests from current cult shows like Game of Thrones etc,but Collectomania & WLFCC have been short of interesting rare guests.Lots of us love British & American crime shows,yet there is rarely actors from these.

I usually love attending MK, with the more relaxed atmosphere,and as I have health issues,at least there I can find somewhere to get fresh air,and a place to sit for a while,(unlike summer LFCC),where we can share our interest in meeting our favourite actors.But this time,there are no interesting guests that we have not seen before.Why is this con SO short on guests?

As a family,we usually attend & enjoy the MK events,and had been looking forward to this one,particularly as my kid Bro Mike has a birthday that weekend, BUT,there are no 'must see' guests for any of us three (and we have wide interests),to justify the cost of travel & hotel,so looks like for once we'll miss this one.

I would love Vincent D'Onofrio to attend!

The only interesting guest for me has cancelled!No point in attending now.Most of the other guests are from newish cult shows,which are great for a lot of younger attendees/cosplayers,but.....After LFCC last summer which was no fun due to the crush of bodies(!),am beginning to think that smaller,specialist cons are the only ones for me.DSTL was great,but LFCC.....

A lot less than previous events,due to event being so hot & crowded that I had to 'abandon ship' on the Saturday! Just EB,auto & photo with Terri Farrell,& a small model of Deep Space Nine....Still,most of cash now back insavings tin for DSTL!
