Yeay!  :D  What a fantastic surprise. I met RR on the sat and it made my day :D . He was so nice and easy to talk to. I have read loads of his books the man is a legend. Hopefully SM will arrange more writers for future events.

Never read any of his books but spoke to him about never reading any of his books!! He was really funny about it and not at all bothered and of course he ended up selling a couple to me as "an introduction to RR" Just seemed a really nice bloke

I went to a Waterstones signing to meet him - He was nice then and funny. His latest book was on 3 for2 so he was telling people to get 3 get them all signed and sell the 2 extra ones on ebay!   :firedevil:

I saw him a couple of times, i haven't read any of his books so i didn't go and talk to him. I overheard him talking with someone else and he seemed like a nice guy.

I recognized him as I walked by, and then looked at his badge and low and behold it was Robert Rankin. I told him I had all his books, but I bought a original copy of his paperback just to get an autograph from him

Suerly there are more RR fans out there than this, the man is a god when it comes to writing. A little crazy maybe, but then who is completely sane! For those of you have never read one of his books shame on yourselves where have you been! Any hoooo good to see there are some folks out there who appreciate him.    :o  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Hello- newbie here...

Just wanted to post my appreciation for RR!

I wish I'd known he was going to be there too... I would've loved an autograph in The Brentford Chainstore Massacre...

What a title! What a top bloke!
