andini
I would recommend Ti West's House of The Devil - a really atmospheric slow burner.

Indiana
Gotta say I preferred Ti's The Innkeepers over House of the Devil. But then I love a great ghost story. Look out for Kelly McGillis in this one.
smcelhenny
It's not so much a movie but an old tv special but BBC's Ghost Watch is a good one for Halloween, so far ahead of its time. Remember watching it as a young teen when they broadcast it and it really creeped me out. Edited October 19, 2013 by smcelhenny
Indiana
I'm a huge fan of Ghostwatch. I have watched it every year since '92's first broadcast. I also contributed to the Ghostwatch Behind The Curtains documentary. And the Halloween 25 Years of Terror documentary - in which I appear (briefly). I have Special Thanks credits on both.
GoldenGreen
Ghostwatch was generally pretty creepy, it certainly freaked me out when I first watched it.
