gebes
www.etaphotels.com 2a Springfield Quay G5 8NP GLASGOW UNITED KINGDOM A friend and I stayed here, and found there are bus routes that you can get right to Braehead Shopping Centre. I think the journey time varied depending on what bus operator we got on. Hope this helps.
minerdave
there is also quite a number of B&B's in and around Paisley on renfrew rd along with the the Premier inn and Holiday inn @ glasgow airport as for getting to Braehead from renfrew road its easy peesy just jump on a number 26 bus heading for glasgow or a 101 they both head for Braehead its about a 30 min bus ride that goes past Xscape so as soon as you see Xscape your on the right track. as for getting from the airport you have 2 choices....well 3 (numbers 2 and 3 are rather expencive) 1 BUS: get on a 300 bus or a 66 heading into paisley centre then get a 26 from there OR i think there is a direct bus from the airport that goes into glasgow via Braehead i dont know the number of it unfortunatly but i guess if you check www.arriva.co.uk the bus numbers and times should be on there. 2 Taxi (NOT RECOMMENDED) i'd only use this if A: your rich or B: late for meeting up with friends etc. journey varies depending on the taxi driver (most of the time they rip you off anyway so tbh dont bother with this choice) 3 RENT'OCAR: Only take this option if you know how to drive, know were braehead is via motorway and are familiar with Paisleys "spaguetti Junction's". journey from the airport is about 20-ish mins depending on traffic on the motorway (saturday's might be a bit hectic but sunday is mostly quiet) but getting back on subject hotels...... i dont really have the details on the B&B's on hand, but you should find them on yell.com hope this helps
dwarfbabe
Is there any chance of this being pinned? I've had a few potential newbies contacting me on Facebook to ask about hotels etc.which makes me think that there will be some coming on here who may also find it useful. steevofromglasgow
I'd recommend ETAP, it's usually a good price, has lots of rooms and is on Paisley Road West where some buses and cabs go to Braehead
