Travel advice to Braehead Arena

Recommended Posts

I have put a list of ways to get to Braehead arena from information that others have put in the past. I will add/update:

 

 

Buses from Braehead to the bus station (via M8):

Mcgills X23 - last bus is about 16:44 on Sunday

Mcgills X6A/X7 - last bus is about 18:59 on Sunday

Mcgills 907 - last bus is about 17:55 on Sunday

 

Buses from Braehead to the bus station (via Partick):

First 747 - last bus is about 22:45 on Sunday

Black cab from Glasgow to Renfrew (close enough to Braehead) are around £20, local cab was £10.20.

Braehead Arena is conveniently situated just four miles from Glasgow International Airport. For more information on flights to Glasgow visit the Glasgow Airport website at www.glasgowairport.com.

 

The First Bus 747 service offers a direct link from Glasgow Airport to Braehead and Xscape. It runs every 30 minutes for most of the day and the journey time to Braehead is around 15 minutes. For timetable details, please use the Braehead journey planner.

I wish I'd known about that last bus on the Sunday to the Bus Station. One cab driver told me there would be no more busses so I had to spend a fortune getting a cab to the bus station to get my coach home.

 

STill, next year will be different - Mega bus and I - noooo way!!

 

Should have said i would have gave you a lift in to the city, as i was around late on sunday

Awwww, thanks Andy. I didn't think about it - everyone was still in the restaurant and all I was worrid about was getting back to the coach station.
