Would be a cool chance to get together and chill before all the madness of the con lol My friend and I will be arriving in Birmingham on Thursday at 10am. Looking forward to a day of shopping and relaxing(this will be our first trip without the boys: our sons are both 6 years old) WOuld love to meet others but there will be a language barrier. We are travelling from Austria. I am a native american that has been living in Austria since 1998 and my friend was born and raised here but speaks no english. SHe's pretty stoked though to be going to the con so I think it won't bother her much. I will have to take on the role of translator!! See you then. We did it for et3 too and felt it the best thing to do as we saw the hotel check in desk get mad busy on the Friday.... We can't be doing with that... LOL..
