I know that, mate, but I've yet again sent multiple emails and had no responses.

 

Jason replied to my last email by posting a general forum message, so I'm chasing up all routes of written contact open to me to ensure that the event is as well promoted as possible.

to be honest there is not much to advertis to a general shopping crowd - in my opinion even people who know about this event are getting fed up with the last minute thing every year.

Ack! I know its not much, but I am pretty sure we put up posters for CM Glasgow at LFCC.

 

I spoke to a few scottish people at that show, hopefully they didnt already know about the Glasgow show and will now attend?

Could a moderator not send a message back up the chain, saying we're wondering what's going on?

 

Even if SM posted saying they've not forgotten about us all up North !!

 

It's less than a month till the event , and there's a con yet to be run before Glasgow.

 

I know enough to know there's post event paperwork etc to be done as well as catch up on that thing called sleep , so I don't really need to get the standard moderator replies of

 

Contact them directly

 

or

 

They're working on another event before hand

 

I am paraphrasing here, but you get the drift

 

I also remember that PDF flyers were produced to allow us to distribute accordingly .....

To be fair, we usually contact them in the same way you do, so it's a case of me getting on the phone or emailing and then passing messages back and forth. I know it can seem like we're giving 'standard' replies, but it just saves a lot of time if people can use direct contact where possible.
