nicky
This is my 1st Autographica as it is for many others too thanks to the great guests and same location and time as CM Midlands. I know the dinner is £75 and you can choose which guest's table you wanna be on if you book early enough but was wondering what else happens during the evening and how people have enjoyed past ones? I don't think it's exactly a "party" per se but rather a formal evening of speeches and mingling? Edited March 8, 2009 by nicky
Moderators Dave Phillips Posted March 8, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 8, 2009 Hi Nicky The dinner starts with a wine reception for about 1 hour. Dinner is 4 course and again includes wine. During the evening the guests will speak and we have an audio visual large screen presentation throughout the evening. After the dinner we will have either the Showmasters Giant scalextric track set up or casino tables. The dress code is formal. Hope that helps Nicky. The dinner seating is on a first booked basis. I do not seat people according to how much they are prepared to pay to sit with a particular guest. The Diamond pass holders have seating preference over everyone. So book early to get the best seats. Dave Phillips
piles
The dinner has been cheaper in the past, but look at who you can dine with this time !! It's a decent evening out TBH - bit of sophisticated mingling with good grub and good company ..... when the hotel don't have three weddings booked on the same night
nicky
Thanks for the reply, Dave. I was wondering would tickets be available on the day (if still available) as I havent decided what I'm doing yet. Also what time does the evening run until? Hi Nicky We will not be selling these on the day. The whole thing takes 6 months to organise and the seating plan will be done by then. If you leave it too late you will not get a good seat. The evening runs till around 12 midnight though some vampires will be lingering long after that. Dave
