surfy_sah Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 ok so this may well seem way bizzarre, same as the con dance thread , to some of you!!! but here goes!!! back in the day when I first started attending SG conventions in 2005, people would bring along the flag from where they were from, mostly us Welshies and the Scots, and wear it while con dancing no, no, not wear it as in Daniel Jackson stylee but as a skirt or cape over what you are already wearing!!!!! think this started because the guests back then didn't really know the difference between the Scots, Irish, Welsh and English, bless!!! so anyways if you want to and are able, bring the flag of your country with you to the con!!!! people that normally wear flags at cons aren't coming this time around so I am trying to ralley it on!! here is a pic of me and my Welsh flag (thanks to wabit/wendy for taking this pic) can't wait for the con, less than 2weeks to go!!!! surfy sah xx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
