On the con website it says "Photo shoot images will be available to download for personal, non commercial use after the event for a set fee." Any clues on where/how/when? I'm really keen to get some of our photos in digital form. :)

It has been a long time since I've been to a SM event, so I don't recall how it works... Do we need to get tickets for the guest panels? And if so, do they cost?

Same here. We're now flying over from Switzerland just so my son can meet people from his fave shows. I know there's always a risk of cancelations, but it doesn't make it any less disappointing

Wondering if any locals know a friendly publican who would turn the TV to BBC1 so Whovians could gather to watch, instead of all being holed up in our hotel rooms?

So if I can't get there in time for my Saturday photos with Gary and Dan, I miss out?

I have a question about registration times. I still don't know whether I'll get the Friday off work (I didn't even work Fridays when I bought my ticket... a timetable change has thrown a very large spanner into the works!), so I may be there quite late. Does anyone have an idea of when registration will be open until on the Friday night, and will it be open again on the Saturday morning if I'm there too late on Friday? Cheers

So glad someone else raised this, as I hadn't even thought about it! A friend and I have also bought extra photo op tickets so we can have a photo taken together with one of the guests, as well as our individual shots. Not that we'd mind going through the queue twice, and I guess it would be easiest for the crew that way anyway because it would mean less faffing around if they did all the group shots at the end. :)

In the green letter with ticket number etc it says the event pass must be "worn at all times". Does this mean it comes on a lanyard or a safety pin or something? Or do I need to bring something to attach it?

The American Screen Actors Guild will be sending out strike ballots in early January (for info, see this site). I recall during the threat of a strike while they were still shooting Atlantis last year that the issue of con attendance was raised on some forums (ie SAG actors couldn't attend cons if they were on strike) but I was wondering whether that would still hold, seeing as filming is done and the show will be finished as of early January? Specifically, if SAG strikes and they are still out in February, should we expect the SAG actors (Joe F and Jason M, for starters) not to attend Chevron 7.2?
