Geoff won The Worlds Strongest Man competition twice, in 1983 and 1985. He was also a successful shot putter, winning 2 Commonwealth and two indoor European titles! BrandinsChick Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 I just am so excited about this event - I LOVE Geoff Capes, I grew up watching him hurling things around and pulling trucks. My Dad has just got to come with me now, all my childhood memories are flooding back. I used to moan my head off for all the sport in the house every weekend and now it's ME who watches it all....
