A marvellous actor, and one of the most watchable characters in the West Wing (and one of the better sights in LA Law). I knew he'd been ill, but thought he had got better. Hell of a shame. We are both big fans of West Wing and he undoubtedly played one of the best characters in the series. He will be much missed.
