Heehee. My tickets were a bargin! get in! Also I'll be arriving at 5:30 I think because of training in the morning I've had to catch a later train. Also to be completely odd...I change trains in Manchester of all places! Which means I have a really long journey on a piddly little train! *squee* We're going to a caaassstttllleeeee yaaaaaay! Omg, I'm going to be such a little kid! lmao! You'll have to shout at me to stop running around and stuff. Hee... OH GIFT SHOP! I'll have to buy a sword....! ARGH grading in a few weeks I am soooo scared! It's my Masters master testing me! Right in all forms of Martial Arts (i think lol) you notice people wear a belt of sorts? Most people only see black belts or white. Basically these belts show how developed you are in Martial Arts. Black belt is one of the top ones and white is a beginner. Currently I am only a beginner of three months but my master thinks I am ready to go in for my Yellow belt. A grading happens approx. every three months. The problem with beginners is you have to learn from scratch. Technique, attitude, physical training etc. Where as each belt from there on is a development from the previous one. I'm just perfecting the strength of my kicks and punches and trying to become more flexible, that's what is worrying me! All kicks require a straight leg at one point or another and I can get so far up in a kick but then start bending my leg. So the kick looks and "kicks" badly. The names of techniques I can't remember so Russ will say Cresent Kick and I'll look at him blankly. But when he says "It's the one where..." I can do it fine. I'm telling them!" So you miserable lot I though I would plan the whole day!! *clears throat* I chose Sat as that's when every one will be there that are going. On the itinery is Castle, Ice Skating, Cinema, Shopping, Castle and the Castle... Oh almost forgot... Castle as well. I prepose the following: Morning This is void because some of us that are in Cardiff already will be getting up and wandering around in a daze. The rest of you will be getting to Cardiff! Lunch and... The ones in Cardiff will meet people on the way and in Town where we shall commence: Shopping and Castle! *boogies* HMV and certain shops of Converse Allstar goodness and Punky Fishness here I come So we break for lunch here. Nothing big because we will then be doing active stuff in the... Afternoon Ice Skating fits in here nicely. Items required for this: Coat Thick socks and gloves... If you fall on the ice with bare hands it aint nice! Thick socks for the ill fitting skates lol. And a coat because the surface temp of the ice is obv below freezing! Ice Skating will lead us nicely into: Early Evening Where Sah has booked a table in Ask (which is an italian restaurant). Or will We presume it has a veggie option for those who are vegetarian. We will need to be Smart Casual for this as it is Saturday evening. We will NOT be going back to Sah's to change so obviously we'll be smart/cas all day so also bear in mind comfort! You'll need about £10-£15 per person here. Considering: meal, dessert and drinks. Here we shall eat, drink and be merry until: Some Goodbyes Here it ends folks for the daytime visitors! We are in town at this point so it is easier for people to be escorted to the station and what not. We will wave you off with hankies and everything and the rest of us will go back to Sah's Points of Note BRING ID. This can't annoy me more. People; Ask is a Bar and if you want drinks you go to the Bar. You will be ID'd. It will be Saturday night. And I have been noted to walk into a bar/club and leave people I was with when they didn't have ID. So people lets remember it! *we will be going in for a meal so we should be safe.* Sah Mentioned sleeping bags, pillows and towels. Let us also not forget Pj's, toothbrushes and various toiletries! I'm unusually organised when I pack so if people forget something I might have it. DVD's, music, laptops, SG-A and SG-1! Bring it all if you want/can! That's it folks! Please remember to confirm you are definately coming we need the number for the table. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID qjump's new system! Ordered me ticket for coming back to Keele on Monday, so I get to Ely station and stupid woman at desk says they aren't there! So - I have to go buy ticket from machine, but it printed me out cheap day returns to Peteborough*! So - because by this point I've missed my train my brother decides to drive me back instead! (not complaining too much about - got cold ) Now, I have to send email to qjump demanding a refund. And to get reasonably cheap tickets to Cardiff - I have to book with qjump but I'll be collecting them form B'ham Fast Ticket machine - so it's not too bad. <_< (* I did, however, go to the desk and she gave me the money back - and talking to my brother later, we don't remember hearing the machine print the tickets, so we think we got a free £7.90 ) Anyhoo - yay for meet-up!
