Tippin
Am I putting up ones that are too hard?
nicky
You need to be realistic and put up ones from contemporary Hollywood...that means the 70s onwards. Remember, there are a lot of young people here, mostly students who aren't into high culture. Taglines for movies only really began to make thier mark on posters during the 70s blockbuster boom...a lot of people won't be familiar with posters from periods before that. Be realisitc and consider the abilities of the fourm members...this site is very differennt to imdb.com and the level of enthusiasm from fans is nowhere near as intenense. This fourm is filled mainly of sf-horror/fantasy fans (it is for a geek's movie convention after all) so they are unlikely to know about John Ford, Howard Hawks, Cecil Demille, Carol Reed etc.
