  1. The six guests at Eclipse 1 did individual photoshoots on both days.
  2. I agree with this. They might be busy working on the show at different times than the cast, though, so that might affect their availability dates.
  3. It's never too early to start suggesting, am I right or am I right? Have at it! For me - and this is more like dream-team than realistic speculation - if you manage to score Milo Ventimiglia or Adrian Pasdar for an Eclipse event, you have to try and get the other as well. Anyone in fandom who pays attention to those two will tell you the resulting talks would be nine different kinds of epic. Of course, they're all special, but, you know. There's a reason they're always paired up. ^^ Any of the guests that previously fell through would be lovely, though it's highly improbable they would all show up at the same event. As far as guest stars go, I have to beg for Ken Lally, a.k.a. The German. He seems like a really friendly guy, who truly loves the show, and whose personality would definitely lend itself to this type of event. And also I have a crush on him. What of it? Francis Capra would also be beyond awesome. As would Kristen Bell, which goes without saying. I also feel like Dana Davis could bring a lot of energy to a convention. And of course, TV's David Anders is always a treat. Who's next?
  4. My thoughts exactly. I think, if reasonably priced, it could sell very well and inject a welcome influx of money into the Eclipse 3 budget.
  5. Awesome. Personally, I'm liking these dates a lot more than the ones originally announced.
  6. Yeah, I'll definitely keep up with any new guest announcements and how they might affect the sales. Thank you both for your answers. :)
  7. I have an unrelated question. I haven't made up my mind about getting tickets yet, and I was wondering: if the con doesn't completely sell out, would it be possible for one to just turn up at the registration desk on the first day and buy a ticket in person?
  8. I'd just like to add that, even though I'm no fan myself, a Twilight con seems like an extremely viable concept to me. There's no denying its huge and rising popularity; and though I know it isn't SM's prime objective to capitalize, if there is an opportunity to host any such event, I think it would be foolish to pass it up. With the right guests, I would bet money tickets will sell out within mere weeks!
  9. To be honest, none of the themes from the first and last categories really excite me to the point that, were any such events announced, I simply would HAVE to go no matter the circumstance. The second category, however, is full to the brim with prospective events I would gladly attend Chiefly, I would be most excited for a Bones, Chuck, Supernatural or House M.D. convention. I also think the Crime con could be an excellent concept, eventhough I'm no fan proper of the CSI's, but as others have said you could broaden it to include shows such as, for instance, Bones.
  10. To be honest, there have been quite a few of us wondering the same thing over the last couple of months. I think we would rather hear anything from "still working out details" to "conflicts have arisen," than forever wonder about it. Or maybe that's just me?
  11. Sweet! I think she's a tremendous talent, and it'll be great meeting her. ^^
  12. Sorry to be a pest, but do we maybe have an approximative estimate of how soon is "very soon" yet? This topic is now over 4 weeks old.
  13. Maybe you should edit this into the first post, so people might be less inclined to mix up 'categories'? Here are my picks: Main Cast #1: Henry Ian Cusick Main Cast #2: Maggie Grace Guest Regular #1: John Terry Guest Regular #2: Tania Raymonde Guest Regular #3: Mira Furlan Guest Actor #1: Sonya Walger
  14. I feel compelled to point out, seeing the high demand for Thomas Dekker, that he has spoken out in the press about his 'disgust' at Hayden and Milo's relationship. While I don't feel any of that is our business to discuss, common diplomacy might suggest not booking him for the same events as Hayden and/or Milo. Not that I believe civility would be compromised on either side, but an otherwise nurturing environment might, thus stripping all parties of any spontaneity during talks and such. Just a thought.
  15. OMG! *is now considering crossing the Channel again*
  16. 1. DavidB 2. mousybrown 3. Zarina 4. Wyn 5. Keladryie 6. Adeline
  17. Watching the results evolve is fascinating! There really is no predicting who will come out on top of the first group. I love it.
  18. I had a glance at the current votes before making my choice, and noting young Zachary's comfortable advance , opted for Grunberg in that group. Out of them all, there are just three I have yet to meet, and those are Grunny, Masi and Ali. I think Grunny is a/ the most likely to come and b/ possibly the most fun (but that's a subjective matter, of course.) That being said, I would be very, very happy to meet Zach again. And Hayden. And Jack. Milo. Pasdar. Sendhil. Anders! Yes, I think it would be perfect if they all could be there. In short, get anyone from this group and I will squee my little heart out. In the second group, I picked Kristen Bell, again because she seems like a whole lot of fun (talks would be hysterical) and because she's main cast. I'm of the fickle ones to whom these things matter, yeah. Besides Kristen, my preferred choices would be: Leonard Roberts, James Kyson Lee, Tawny Cypress, Ashley Crow, Stephen Tobolowsky. I just cited over half of the list, ha! That's because I haven't ever met anyone from this group who wasn't at Eclipse, so I'll be looking forward to righting that, no matter which ones of them make it to the convention. In the final group, I picked Adair Tishler. I think she would have tons of great stories from the set Pair her in a talk with Grunny, and I think we would all die from the levels of a/ cute and b/ LOLs. Hee! Others from this list whom I think I most would like to meet: Dana Davis, Dania Ramirez, Nora Zehetner, Matthew John Armstrong and Missy Peregrym. And now, for a little propaganda: Vote Pasdar! PASDAR IS AWESOME, VOTE PASDAR. Heh. It makes me weep a little inside that he's trailing so far behind. (Sendhil, I can understand. We all just met him and he isn't as nudity-prone as David. )
  19. In between Eclipse 1 and 2, I'll be going to the soup kitchen and salvation army.
  20. I really love the Corinthian Casino idea. But I'm game for anything involving a naked David Anders and cake as well, of course.
