  1. If Showmasters themselves could just confirm that not all pictures are sent yet, or that the pictures that are going to go abroad were sent out later than the UK-based ones it would make me a lot less worried about the fate of my photograph
  2. Still not here Have the photos with destinations outside the UK been mailed yet, though? Or can you guys maybe tell us when you did? Usually it takes about a week, but it's been longer now...
  3. I'm still waiting for my Adrian&Milo photo! Not too weird, cause it does need to travel a little further, but if it doesn't arrive somewhere early next week I'm gonna get really worried
  4. Allright, thanks for the answers guys :)
  5. I know it may seem a bit like a premature question but bear with me. My friend and I would like to come to Eclipse, but unfortunately my friend has a very important thing on the 17th that she needs to be home for, so if the con ends late on the 16th, she won't be able to go. I realize you probably dont have anything planned out yet at all, but could you give me maybe a rough estimation? 'Evening' would do, really, cause then she already couldn't make it (cause we're not from the UK) (also while I'm asking questions - are autographs free, or not? Cause the Programmes page says they are, but the Autographs page says they're not?)
  6. Technically, yes but I'm barely over 5 ft 1, so although I know I'm right there next to her you can't see me But WateryTart and our friend (with the red backpack) are very visible in the first pic, which is awesome, thanks heeey, there I am the one with the glasses and the darkblond hair standing all the way in front (half of me, anyway XD) lol finally a picture I can point at and squee 'SEE I WAS TOTALLY THERE IN THE CROWD'

  8. Well I dont appear to look too bad, horribly over-excited maybe but who wouldnt? At least the flash didnt bounce off my glasses like I feared it might have Milo is indeed pretty far removed from some people, yes. He put his hand on my back though, which you can't see on the photo sadly (I vote for two photographers next time, one in front of you and one behind ), and my pic was taken about an hour into the shoot. I am also very amused by some pics where Adrian is clutching Milo's shoulder like he's stopping him from running off or something XD Just wondering though, why are the thumbnails linked when clicking the link leads you to a 404?
  9. I remember you! Saw you on Sunday and Friday at the London Eye. You were actually in quite a few photos I took at the Eye. Here's a random request but would you mind emailing us those photos? Me and WateryTart (and our two other friends) were so busy taking pictures of everything happening there, we don't actually have pictures with ourself in it! I've been scouring the web, just to see if I can somehow prove that really, we were there, but havent found any yet (which surprised me cause, as you might have deduced, WateryTart kind of tends to stand out ) (Srsly Showmasters, get the PB system working, it would prevent lots of random posts like there )
  10. My friend had a picture taken with you, I'll ask her about it for you
  11. Mailed it to you :) I've been looking at loads of people's pics to see if I can spot myself too, but no such luck yet (you can see me briefly in waterytart's video though, behind Milo's head Adrian saying 'how are you' is also directed at me there ) it's so fun to see everyone's pics though, all that excitement is rushing back at me!
  12. Thank you :) I agree that there were things that just went wrong, but am in no way angry. I spoke to some Showmasters people (I dont know who you were though!) and you were so stressed out, I just wanted to give you a hug and tell you it would be fine, just breathe! I really did have a great time, and I am eagerly awaiting my Adrian&Milo photograph!
  13. OMG Natfrog5! I made a picture at the Eye which has you and Milo taking that picture on it!! Look: If you give me your e-mail address I can send you the full-sized untagged version if you like Anyway I was also at the Eye and it was FANTASTIC! I got all their autos and got to say something to all of them. I told Milo I'd travelled all the way from the Netherlands to see them and he was really surprised, and thanked me for travelling so far for them (which I thought was hilarious cause... they travelled much farther ) I also made more pictures but havent uploaded them, only just uploaded the one above for Natfrog5
  14. I dont give a crap about what *I* look like on the picture, as long as Adrian and Milo look good I sort of froze into my usual picture-smile, so I think I'll look decent enough, but I could look like this > and as long as Milo and Adrian looked as good as they always do I'd still cherish the picture for ever and ever cause it's still picture proof I got to be so close to them, after all!
  15. I completely agree. I'd never been to a con before, and yes there were some things that I felt were not worked out very well and which were frustrating, but overall I had a good experience and I got to meet and see everyone I came for. I think a lot of people had this huge sense of entitlement. I was queueing for the Adrian&Milo photo and I overheard a guy complaining he'd just gotten his Hayden auto and that she was so disinterested... well, what did he expect? She's 18 years old, she's been signing for hours on end, of course she's gonna be disinterested, she's tired and bored. These actors are just people too. They get bored, and tired, and hungry after a while. They too were seated in a dark, stuffy hall and were just as frustrated by that as we were. Their hands must've hurt from signing for so long. Of course they're not going to respond to you as if you were the greatest thing since sliced bread. I had my auto from Hayden, and that was at the end of the day, and she was indeed clearly tired and fed up but she smiled at me and greeted me politely as she signed for me, and I was more than satisfied. I felt she was a real trooper for keeping it up like she did. Here's a stupid comparison - when I was 18 I had a weekend job at a supermarket as a check-out girl. Trust me that after an hour or 5, repetitive work gets REALLY frustrating, and that's what signing is too - repetitive work. And also trust me that I was a lot ruder to my end-of-the-day customers at times than Hayden was to the end-of-the-day fans! That said, I'd really appreciate it if someone could answer my questions with regards to the photos, I'm really sort of worried about them, cause they have to travel so far overseas and stuff What happens if my photo gets lost in the mail, or if I accidentally get someone else's?
  16. Thank you for the update! I was pretty disappointed when I couldnt get my picture, but my friend (who is ever the optimist) cheered me up saying I now still had something great to look forward to about the con :) I do have some questions though. I'm not from the UK, I'm from the Netherlands, and I'm so very worried about the photo getting lost in the mail! What do I do if that happens? And what do I do if I get a wrong one? I think I left a pretty good description (I even detailed the jewellery I was wearing) but what if there was someone else out there with glasses and a pink dress?
  17. This was my first ever con, so here are some suggestions from a newbie... a newbie who did thorougly enjoy the experience though! Got to meet everyone I wanted to and bought some nice merchandise and things too - lights. Yes. Would have been... good XD - seating! I have rheumatoid arthritis, and all the standing and walking got horrible on my ankles, knees and hips after a while (I was the girl in the pink dress who kept sitting down on the floor in the queue for the Adrian and Milo shoot I felt really annoying but seriously, I *had* to, I was in so much pain! But it was totally worth it though, don't you worry about me, but a couple more chairs strewn about would have been pleasant ) - the signs with the VT numbers on it were too low! Because of the crowd you couldnt see them, so if I wanted to see if my numbers were up I had to wrestle up front, and then wrestle back to either join the queue or go wander around again. Seriously, put those signs up, maybe just a foot or so, it would work wonders - seating all the big guests in the same place wasnt smart. It would have been better to put the Heroes together, and then Dom and Patrick on the other side. You could've still handed the VTs out at the same place, it would be hectic for a little while but after that if the guests were further apart it would have been a little easier to navigate (cause now there constantly was this huge mob of people around that area and I could hardly even move through it and more than once I ended up at the wrong queue )
  18. My 2 cents I only just arrived back in my county from the UK after a 7 hour trainride so if I make any typos or weird sentences, blame it on my tiredness please Me and my friend queued for nearly an hour and a half. I agree they should have put a stop on the ticket sales (although I'm glad they didnt cause else I wouldnt have had it! ) All the while I was standing there my feet started to hurt and my legs get tired - but all that time, Adrian and Milo were standing there too! Their feet must've hurt, too. When I got closer to the booth, I noticed that the people in front of me didnt even say anything to them, which I thought was odd, but then Adrian and Milo didnt say anything back to them, but why should they if the people coming up to them don't say hi either? So I walked up, and I was cheerful cause yay pretty boys, and I said hi and smiled and they smiled back even though they looked tired. They put their arms around me (I can still feel Adrian's hand on my waist :swoon: ) and took the picture and I thanked them and they said you're welcome and I left. It was brief, but I got what I expected and they were lovely and nice (and warm!) and I was practically floating But! Then my friend went! And they ran out of film so my friend stood there, with them, as they changed the film! She was practically dying XD But they said that they were only supposed to do this for 30 mins to the photographer, and they were all yeah but there's so many people, so Adrian and Milo said well then let's finish it. So even though they were tired, and their feet probably hurt, and this wasnt what they had originally agreed to, they still did it. They could've said 'yeah, screw this, I didnt agree to this' and stopped, but they didn't. Maybe people were rushed, but they finished it and I, for one, think that that's nice of them. Maybe that's just me, but eh. I was disappointed at the lack of photo though I hope it will all turn out okay, I really want my photo I'm not from the UK and now I have these doom scenarios in my head of my photo getting lost in the mail someplace Will you send it like you did the tickets, that you have to sign for it when you accept it? Cause that would calm my nerves some...
  19. I'll still be at the London Eye, even if it's just cause I've never seen the London Eye + its vicinity before, so if I get to see some Heroes along the way after all it's a plus But you guys, I'll be leaving for the UK in 8 hours and won't have internet access for a few days, so if ANY news for Saturday for Heroes World Tour pops up, or any additions/cancellations for the LFCC are announced, if you see me at the Eye feel free to approach me and inform me of this because I probably won't know! (not that you're not allowed to approach me if there isn't any news, but you know what I mean ) I'm short, I have long darkblond hair probably pulled back in a ponytail, I wear glasses, and I'll probably be wearing a pink dress over a pair of jeans and a black backpack (and, um, I'm a girl, if the 'dress' didnt make that obvious ). I'm so excited about everything though, London, the LFCC, whoo!
  20. You just made two of my friends SUPER happy, thank you so much Showmasters!!
  21. Haha I emailed with Zenon Dmytryk too! He also told me to contact the BBC publicity department. I did, and they sent me to the lfcc website! So just you know, Showmasters, you're the one apparently organizing the World Tour fan event It's such a shame we probably won't be meeting Adrian and Milo though
  22. That's what I find so odd too, you'd think they'd be doing something on Saturday at least! Though I wonder if they made them cancel LFCC's Saturday in case something might be scheduled? Cause in that case Showmasters got shafted (heck especially now that they're announcing LFCC as a part of the Tour, they should've just sent all 4 of them here for both days...)
  23. I still havent gotten a reply from Forbidden Planet yet btw, which is annoying cause I was under the impression they were quick with answering questions. Conspiracy, y/y?
