  3. The word has come down that the information provided to McMahon by the Albany DA is independent of that that the TV Stations are publishing. Only one name has been confirmed and that is Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci who was no longer on screen but behind the scenes. The thirty day suspensions have already started and will be over by the next PPV - all except the one 60 day suspension. All the tours, including the UK are still on as the roster is due to fly to South Africa this week (Raw is being taped tomorrow). It will be interesting to see who shows and doesn't. Update: 3 names leaked as suspended are: Randy Orton - they can cover this by saying he has been suspended for attacking someone not on the roster, as in Cena's Dad. Ken Kennedy - Pass on this one as he is in the illegitimate son story. Edge - He is out anyway. Taping results for ECW and Smackdown are out tonight and Raw tomorrow night. I will post any noticeable ties with this news asap with Spoiler in the start of the message
  4. My local HMV have it listed for half price for first week only, and £2.99 after that. It also has a lot of extra stuff on it as well.
  5. This one has been going on a bit and is nothing new to the WWE. You will always find a so called fan who tries to sue. If memory serves me correctly, there have been a few cases chanced as a result of your man Triple H's entrance. None were successful.
  6. More updates on the Pharmacy Scandal WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt confirmed to Newsday late Friday that one more WWE Superstar has been suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy, bringing the total to eleven. As it stands now, ten of the suspensions are for 30 days and one suspension is for 60 days, because it is the wrestler's second offense. This comes after WWE released talent executive Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci. Bucci's name was on The New York Daily News list of names linked to Signature Pharmacy and word is he was called in for a meeting with WWE on Friday where they let him go. WWE spokeswoman Jennifer McIntosh spoke to ABC News on Friday. "We've alerted our talent, basically, you've got fair warning," she said. "We believe that publicly announcing the names of performers moving forward is going to act as a deterrent." According to Jerry McDevitt, at this time no more suspensions are expected. As it stands right now, there are some names on the list who can easily disappear off screen. Santino Marella is injured, Charlie Haas isn't in any big storyline and Randy Orton can be suspended for the attack on Cena Sr. Past that, it will be hard to cover up the names. Mind you, the names on the Pharmacy list do not necessarily mean that they are the ones who have been suspended. However, with Mike Bucci aka Simon Dean released from his contract, I think we can safely predict that some big names will be missing for a month. This definitely puts the IC Title up for grabs.
  7. The Sandman's old entrance through the crowd with beer in hand smashing the empty can against hs head has resulted in a Judge allowing a legal case to be brought against Jim "Sandman" Fullington and the WWE. A recent report online stated: Karlene Boutwell of Nashville, Tennessee will be getting a jury trial in a $100,000 lawsuit filed against Sandman (James Fullington) and WWE. The case is scheduled to be heard on November 4th. Boutwell alleges that she injured her back, aggravated a pre-existing condition, and was exposed to Sandman's blood while he was making his entrance during the August 8, 2006 edition of ECW on Sci-Fi. WWE attempted to get the case thrown out after they released footage that didn't show anything out of the ordinary. WWE is has also argued that they shouldn't even be listed in the lawsuit since Sandman is not an employee, but an independent contractor.
  8. Both Virgin and WH Smith have a sale on at the moment with TV Box Sets. I picked up Season 2 of BSG for £20 the other week. They have all mainstream American and British shows on sale. Col. Jack - I am hoping to go the way of HD TV etc when I get a job and squirrel some savings. A family member has recently secured HD TV Flatscreen Plasma jobby with HD DVD and it is the Squirrels nuts.. You are very lucky...
  9. These recent announcements have turned up in this month's SFX and it is nice to see former Superman alumnai returning in different roles.
  10. As many have previosuly posted, this is something that has gone on in the UK for years. But, on the positive side, if you shop aroud you will find a price war between Virgin, WH Smith, HMV, Sainsbury and Asda. I managed to pick up part 2 of Prison break Season 2 for £22.97 at Sainsbury. One thing of note is that the US retailers/distrbuters are doing it now. They recently did it with 24 amongst other shows. It isn't great to have to buy it in two parts, but shop around (or phone) and you may save money.
  11. The names listed above are only ones who are prescriptions at the Pharmacy concerned. There are many more, but the WWE will not name them. If it is anyone big then it will be obviosu as to who it is. You can include King Booker, Santino Marello and many more. The District Attorney provided McMahon with independent information, and VKM has taken the step to suspend. 9 are first timers and thus otu for 30 days with no pay. The other one is a second timer and thus out for 60 days. The WWE has stated that it will not release the names, but has informed the entire staff that from November 1st 2007 they will publicly name any Wellness violators. The WWE.Com statement goes as follows: Based on independent information received from investigators from the Albany County, NY D.A.’s office, WWE has today, under the penalty provisions of its wellness policy, issued suspension notices to 10 of its performers for violations. It has been WWE’s practice not to release the names of those who have been suspended, but notice has been sent to all WWE performers that names of anyone who is suspended under the Wellness Policy as of November 1 will be made public. Details of those names found on prescriptions: Details On WWE Superstars Receiving Drug Shipments While the WWE declined to release the names of the suspended athletes, SI has learned that a dozen professional wrestlers have received steroids and/or human growth hormone through the drug network. The WWE would not confirm which, if any, of the following wrestlers are among those suspended: • Chris Benoit, who died June 24, 2007, received nandrolone and anastrozole in February 2006. (Anastrozole is used by athletes to counter side effects of steroid use, such as water retention and breast enlargement.) • Two weeks prior to Eddie Guerrero's death on Nov. 13, 2005, he was sent nandrolone, testosterone, and anastrozole. Guerrero died in a Minneapolis hotel room due to what a coroner later ruled as heart disease, complicated by an enlarged heart resulting from a history of anabolic steroid use. • Chavo Guerrero, who found his uncle Eddie dead in the Minneapolis hotel room, received, among other drugs, somatropin (HGH), nandrolone and anastrozole between April 2005 and May 2006. • Between November 2003 and February 2007, Shane Helms, a/k/a The Hurricane, received, among other drugs, testosterone, genotropin (HGH) and nandrolone. (As previously reported by SI, he allegedly received HGH from an Arizona doctor in 2005.) • Starting in September 2004 through February 2007, Randy Orton received somatropin, nandrolone, stanozolol. • John Hennigan, a/k/a Johnny Nitro, a.k.a. Johnny Morrison, is the current WWE Extreme Championship Wrestling's heavyweight champion. Between June 2006 and February 2007 he was prescribed somatropin, anastrozole, testosterone, stanozolol and chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone produced naturally during pregnancy. (HCG is taken by anabolic steroid users to stimulate the production of testosterone, which is suppressed as a result of steroid use.) • Ken Anderson, a/k/a Mr. Kennedy, lost to Eddie Guerrero in Guerrero's final match on Nov. 11, 2005. Kennedy received shipments of anastrozole, somatropin and testosterone between October 2006 and February 2007. • Shoichi Funaki received somatropin in March 2006. • Brian Adams, a/k/a Crush, who retired from the pro circuit in 2001, was found dead of unknown causes on Aug. 13. He received nandrolone, testosterone and Somatropin or HGH in December 2006. • Charles Haas was prescribed anastrozole, somatropin, stanozolol, nandrolone and chorionic gonadotropin between August 2006 and January 2007. • Edward "Umaga" Fatu received somatropin between July and December 2006. • Between November 2004 and November 2006, Darren "William Regal" Matthews received stanozolol, somatropin, genotropin, and anastrozole. • Adam Copeland, a/k/a Edge, received somatropin, genotropin (both HGH), and stanozolol between September 2004 and February 2007. • Sylvain Grenier received somatropin, nandrolone, genotropin and stanozolol, starting in February 2005 through July 2006. Other names that have since arisen: Dave Bautista (Batista) Chris Mordetsky (Masters) Robert Huffman (King Booker) Mike Bucci (Simon Dean) Anthony Carelli (Santino Marella) Through WWE spokesman Gary Davis, the applicable WWE wrestlers listed above declined comment.
  12. It has been announced by the WWE that they have handed out 10 suspension penalty notices. They will not release names, but it stems from a raid on a Florida based pharmacy. Police records state that names such as William Regal, Charlie Haas, Ken Kennedy, Randy Orton and John Morrison were found on prescriptions - their real names obviously. Penalties for Wellness violations are: First: 30 Days Suspension Second: 60 Days Suspension Third: Released If any of the names mentioned are those suspended, it will be obviosu as from next weeks Raw, Smackdown & ECW. Regal, Kennedy, Orton and Morrison are all big players on screen. Go to WWE.Com for full details.
  13. I can't remember which show it was on, but this popped up a while back. It is still hilarious. I think it may have been outed on Graham Norton.
  14. I dont agree here that ray and chavo stole the show i just thought that ray was clumsy and looked unfit to be honest match of the nite for me was orton and cena so sick of seeing cena with the belt but it was great seeing orton kick his butt summerslam was ok all in all plus trips is back which is a bonus lol I take it that you enjoyed Raw last night then?
  15. if the first one didnt have the goblet of fire on it would be perfect! as the image is awesome! however the 4 crests poster is very interesting and very neutral in terms of the cast. dilemma If you have no luck with a poster, you may find a trader who sells the movie postcards form all of the movies etc. You can get the relevant autograph on the postcard concerned and then frame them down the line in order of movie. I have done this with various films and tv shows and they look great.
  16. I am still waiting for it to appear on my d/l site. I do not pay for PPV's as I refuse to pay extra to Murdoch & Co.
  17. A tad disappointed with the results of the 3 title matches, but it will be interesting to see how things pan out on Raw & Smackdown this week.
  18. To Akira..I do not know who you are as you have not said, but if my actions or repurcussions from my actions have in anyway impacted on yours or someone close to you's life, then I truly apologise. I do mean this and accept that no explanation can ever make you feel differently. I pray to the good lord above that your life is back on track and proceeds without further inconvenience. All I can say is that I did not wake up one day and decide to be a criminal. What I did I did with heavy heart and great regret. At the time I did not feel that I could go to the Police for fear of safety for members of my family that were threatened. For you and anyone else impacted by that one decision to comply with the blackmailer, I do truly apologise. I hope that the fact that someone's elses greed will live with me for the rest of my life every time I look in the mirror. That is my life long punishment. For the bad decision I made to comply, I deserve whatever I get. As regards other matters on here, at the personal request of someone else, I will not comment further on that issue.
  19. After great consideration I have reworded my comments. However, if I remove them all then I look like what certain posters want me to look like. I have never asked for for my past to be brought up, but someone did so and walked away. I cannot change the views of other posters, I can just get on with my life. However, I will not stand by and be attacked without defending myself. People need to know the facts before they make judgments or comments otherwise they become what they accuse others of. I deceived no one, did not commit fraud as Akira stated, but was forced to commit financial crimes with fear for the safety of others dear to me. It is not an excuse, it is the facts. Facts that are in public domain in statements etc. I will now leave this subject peacefully and double check all posts to make sure inappropriate comments are not in them. I am not claiming to be a nice guy, a bad guy or anything else apart from me.
  20. In response: 1. Get your facts straight about why I was in prison. Don't forget the fact that I was blackmailed into what I did, put in hospital twice and lost two years of my life. 2. You need to listen to fact and not rumour instigated by those who jumped on a bandwagon that had nothing to do with them. I trusted someone with my plight, and they turned it on me. 3. My name hasn't been Simon du Kamp for many years Akira. A name change was forced upon me to protect me from the blackmailer who put me in hospital. I live each day with one eye over my shoulder because I told the Police everything. 4. As regards bullying, I have been the victim of bullying. 5. Get the crime correct as well. It wasn't credit card fraud, and I personally never stole details. It was obtaining goods, service and/or monies by misrepresentation. Something that I live with every day of my life when I look in the mirror. I did what I did to protect my family from harm, and I was repaid with the loss of 632 days of my life. And if you want to talk about low...how about the people, and I know who they are, who found out that I was viciously assaulted in prison and spread it around like it was some sort of fun thing to talk about. I live with that every second and every breath of my life. You want me to suffer for what I did Akira? Well, I fight that day by day with help from no one as no one can understand what I go through. I do not ask for pity, just ot be left alone. You come on here and attack me for something you know nothing about. What was printed in the newspaper and online was 99% wrong. How do I know? Because I lived it. The amount of so called friends who told the Police that I did this and that was amazing. Yet, what they said was wrong. I know what I did. I know what I didn't do. So, get the facts correct if you want to slate me properly. Or be like the people who mock the fact that I was viciously assaulted in prison at 6.46pm on December 5th 2006...sad, lonely and with nothing better to do than hit out. And what makes it worse..someone could have stopped it, but didn't. That good enough for you, or do you want my blood? So, if you are going to slate me off..at least get the facts straight. I am not proud of what I did, but it protected my Parents, Brother and Nephew from harm. Harm that I took many times. If I could sit down and tell every person how sorry I was then I would. So, if you want to attack me..then go ahead. You won't chase me off. William Simon Jones Formerly Simon Mark du Kamp P.S. The next time you or one of your group go to Showmasters at LFACC and tell them lies, don't ruin my friends day out like you do a few years ago. That is low. Since typing the above message this afternoon I had time to reflect on what I told people. I was most upset at the flipant and quite vicious way Akira anonymously had a go at me with falsehoods and rumours. I have no problem explaining to anyone privately what happened, but everything I experienced during the blackmail and what happened to me in December just gone made me very upset. To anyone upset themselves by what I revealed had happened to me..I apologise. I also apologise to Showmasters for venting my frustrations at Akira. I also apologise to both Harkness and Ross Owen for chipping in with comments, but my previous Samaritan training kicked in when I thought it was out of order what was being said. I should have kept my thoughts to myself. I cannot change what I did that got me sent to prison. I can only repent on a daily basis to the good lord above. If you choose to dislike me or judge me on thay, then so be it. If you have any questions, then e-mail me on the address in my profile. Thankyou. Wil Jones
  21. I am left with no option but to break my promise of ignoring your comments as I need to make two sensible ones without having you try and twist them again: 1. There are bullies on here, and I am in the middle of reporting them. I find bullying distasteful and unacceptable. It exists and people who stick their heads in the sand about it are as responsible as those who do it. 2. From my point of view, if I feel comments are out of order I will say so. If I am corrected then I will accept said correction. However, when someone tries to talk their way out of a hole when times, dates and quotes prove otherwise, I feel obliged to myself to say something. For someone who comments about others who cannot take criticism or comments, you do the same yourself. Far from deleting, but modifying and adding. I have a life, but I will not be made to feel like I cannot have an opinion by someone who heralds opinion. I guess this is one time in our lives that we will have to disagree. I hope you find your convention experiences as enjoyable as you wish them to be. I guess I am obsessive when it comes to bullying. I don't see it as a fault. That is all that matters. Good night. It is late.
  22. Nonsense You need to get a sense of humour David. So I posted your quote in my sig? and whats the big deal? You said it didn't you!!! Don't blame me mate. I made my point about being disappointed in the lineup - if you or anyone else doesn't like me having that opinion then tough. As a potential paying customer I have every right to expect value for money. Why are you directing these comments about another person to me? I've no interest. And for someone who doesn't want to mention any names - you just did! Lighten up man and I hope you are not for one second suggesting that I am a bully for having an opinion. I'm no kid either buddy. Point 1: I am not your buddy - term or no term Point 2: You involved yourself with other people's comments, so your lack of interest shows that you want to get involved yet not take the fallout. Your own comments bordered on rude and aggressive, and someone with me who does not frequent the forum made the same sort of opinion without my help. Point 3: If you are going to quote me, do the decent thing of quoting the whole post as you try and make things sound like something they are not. The non naming of names was put in the following passage One thing I do detest is bullying, and in my opininon that has gone on through derision and put downs during certain person's posts. I am not naming who as I am non confrontational across a board as it makes for bad atmosphere. These comments that I make now are generalised and made in extreme calmness before going out for the evening. Therefore, you once again misquote somone as you did "jokingly" with David B's so called quote in the signature you used/still use. I never intimatrf taht you were a kiddie, so do not put words into my mouth. You try and make people, namely DavidB and Myself, out to say something that we haven't in the way you try to portrey. I find that sad and immature. For someone who isn't a kiddie, oen needs to grow up and accept it when people disagree with you. You are highly offensive, and to be perfectly honest, no longer worth the time I spend replyng. So, before you come back and quote me in some immature way, the next time you quote me I will just ignore your attempts at baiting me. If the quotes get personal, I will just go the route available to me. And Ross Owen comes in and alters his post to remove comments about me. Childish. I guess it was lucky I had already quoted you Ross Owen. Why create tension and aggrevation? Why not just be friendly?
  23. For all you Sky Viewers, Sky have just run an advert saying that Season Three starts on 24/09/07.
