PLEASE get Simon Pegg to attend again if you can..... It was my 30th birthday last time he was at an event and I had something else planned which I couldn't cancel! ..... 4 years later I am still upset about it!!!

TBH I personally prefer the bigger cons like CM Milton Keynes and LFCC and have the guests going there rather than all these individual conventions. Whilst I really enjoyed Being Human I would not go to a convention just for them (even though I appreciate other people would).

Thanks Showmasters, what a great year it has been for me with horror and Buffy guests and for my hubby with Star Trek (even though it has cost us a bl**dy fortune LOL). Looking forward to what is in store for next year (hubby already saving as lots of ST guests announced already). Hopefully more horror guests (Friday 13th perhaps?) and Buffy but its always fun waiting to see the new announcements. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone, Laura & Peter xxx

OMG OMG OMG

Ok so its 7 weeks away and still no more guests announced. I have been avidly watching this board for over a year now and still have not bought a ticket as I want to see if anyone else will be announced. I know Showmasters add guests when they know but are there actually going to be anymore guests and will they be smaller cast guests? Desperate to get tickets but £150 odd is too much when I have already met James Marsters twice!

Please let it happen!!!!

Well my husband gets his Star Trek CCG signed (unlike me who gets the photos) or we would have used the new system Showmasters has. Its the actual meeting as well it would have been wonderful to actually see him!! Our little one has been discharged as an inpatient and we are going back each day for drip infusions which don't finish until about 10am and then its a two hour train journey to London (which we obviously wouldn't put little one through). Just praying he might do another convention and hoping he had mentioned something to Showmasters (crosses fingers and toes) :)

Dear Showmasters I wonder if you could help? My husband and I had tickets booked for LFCC and were so unbelieveably excited about meeting Scott Bakula. Unfortunately our newborn son was taken into hospital this week and therefore we could not attend today and probably would not make it tomorrow until about midday after our son is discharged making it (what we consider) impossible to get a ticket to see him. We were just wondering if he had mentioned whether he would consider doing another convention in the near future?? thank you so much for your help xxx

It would be much better to run the two together. I got to Midlands at 10.50am and left after just over an hour as I only had one autograph and there were hardly any stalls. If I could have been bothered to wait until 1pm to get into Autographica for free I would definately have done so but I was bored but next time I would probably wait.

If she was coming SM would surely start replying to some of the posts. All of them have been ignored which is unfair considering she is the only reason my husband and I are coming. It would be nice to actually know considering its only a week away.

I definitely think it is having an effect. I was going to get my normal picture and Buffy cards signed but this time round I could just afford the photos. Its a shame really but things are just too tough at the moment! God damn this credit crunch, go away so I can spend lots of money next time

I agree... today was totally annoying with lots of people just looking and stopping in the middle of the isles when I was queuing! Much as I like to look around the shops whilst waiting for autographs it will be good to lose the "non" fans (is that mean?)

Well now I am panicking because although its over a year away it seems that people are already booking Gold Passes!!!! I have never got anything other than a standard ticket before but I certainly do not want to miss out on this one. Does anyone have any advice on whether to book gold/silver tickets a year in advance or will there be plenty and so I don't have to kill the credit card until next year sometime! You know it annoys me also when people come on here moaning about the money side of things. I have always been happy with spending out the money. I think Showmasters is fantastic for what they do. My husband and I love coming to conventions and have done since CM2 I think! It is a fantastic day out and meeting all the stars is such fun, especially with CMMK coming up in the next couple of weeks and I cannot wait. On the dyslexia side of things my husband has dyslexia and he is one of the most intelligent people I know. He just has trouble with getting the letters in the right place! Whomever this imbecile is that posted earlier is a total moron. Showmasters do not feel you have to even justify yourselves, you do a fantastic job and we love you. Laura xxxxxx
