The main Olympia was all booked up when i looked, that's why i am parking at the Olympia P4 car park just past the main car park. Same price, just outside rather than undercover.
-
Cheers for the info. I have used Just Park several times in the past and found them to be ideal for when I need to get into London. For LFCC, most of the local spaces at a reasonable price were already booked when I tried to find one so I opted for the P4 Motorail car park at Olympia instead. Not cheap but it's on the doorstep, and better than £225 that some people wanted for the car space on their front.

Latest Guest Announcement - HAYLEY ATWELL

And what if you have bought tickets at £15.00? I assume SM won't be knocking on peoples doors for the extra fiver? -
LFCC Saturday and Sunday now sold out!
jediknight49 replied to Too Tall's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
"It will be very busy and the queues in the mornings will be horrendous but it will be a great show!!" Oh joy! I can't wait. All them queues, squeezing past people, unable to look at the stalls. Sounds like a "great" show :-\ -
Lost Ticket for Photo shoot
jediknight49 replied to Last-Resort's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I find it hard to believe that given the amount of proof the ticket holder has that SM can not assist in getting them the photoshoot without having to payout again. It's a genuine error, something we have all been guilty of in the past. I think some common sense and flexible "can do attitude" customer service is required here by SM. At times, it does seem and come across as a very rigid mentality when these kind of things happen, which I find disappointing. -
23rd Collectormania and still issues with the concourse, over crowding, bottle necks ect? At least the bus service was ok this year by the sounds of things.

Saturday Entry Tickets - Sold out?
jediknight49 replied to jediknight49's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I see, that's great, thanks for the quick response. I'll purchase once the shop has been re-stocked -
Just been to the shop to look at ticket entry prices and it says that Saturday is sold out. Is this correct? My brother has just bought a Diamond Pass for MJF, and we both planned to attend Saturday and Sunday to cover everything we nned to do for MJF and all the other guests. I am hoping that it is a glitch on the shop and that is it not sold out.
-
If I decide to attend, i'll be waiting till the last minute to buy tickets. I need to see who is going to be appearing, and on which day, as I am unable to attend all the days, and certainly can not afford to stop over in London as it just adds costs to the show for me. I assume we will get the usual notification that A) tickets are selling out fast Shop closes at x o'clock on a certain date like with previous shows?

Stan Lee - Signing no more...
jediknight49 replied to jediknight49's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2014
The pounds are not aimed at Stan, they are for SM. They are the one's who have massively oversold this event unfortunately. -
1.55pm - I have VT 160 for Stan. Just gone to join queue only to be told Stan has yet to sign a single VT number and the chance of me getting is auto is VERY slim. Absolute joke. Stan arived late, signed Gold and Silver, then went off for a 2 hour photoshoot (££££) and then will be signing Vt's from 3 to 4, when he will then be going to do more photoshoots (££££) and then his talk. There is going to be a whole lot of disappointed and angry fans later. Less photo op's, more autos please!!!

San Diego Comic Con only allows pre sale tickets. I believe this is what SM should look at doing based on what horror stories i am reading on here. Its ok talking about making it a massive event, biggest in europe, but there has to be some balance. 4.5hr queues, people being refused re-entry is not acceptable. "Tell your friends"ect is what we are being asked each time by SM to promote the event, and i understand that SM have to pay big money to get these guests, but i honestly feel that on this occasion, money and profit has been put before the concern of the fans and the "experience" we are suppose to get from meeting our idols. Word of mouth can make or break events like this, and i have a feeling that it will take sometime for SM reputation to recover and regain the trust and money a lot of cheated fans. SM are not amatuers, been doing shows for long time, but if they want to be like SD Comic Con, i suggest they take a lot of leaves out of their book and learn how to run "on the day" a massive event. Todays experiences is not the way unfortunately :-(

Harley, were you in Stan Lee queue or standard early bird queue for the other hall / guests? Reading several comments about organisation problems, lack of info on queues, lack of SM staff & security, queue jumpers ect. If true, very disappointing seeing as SM assured fans that they had a handle on things. Its not like its their 1st event or these problems are new because these issues occur at every LFCC event (not so at MK strangely). C'omom SM get things sorted for tomorrow.

Seem to be missing the point of peoples concerns / questions. Seperate Halls is fine. Crowd safety is correct. we all agree with these points 100%. The points raised which seem to be confusing some people / being missed or ignored are: 1) Why can not ALL Vt's for ALL guests be handed out in one hall, like previous shows, regardless of where the actual guest is situated? 2) How are the Stan Lee Vt queue fans going to be re-intergrated back into the main hall from outside? I'm talking queue wise after they sprint back from SL Hall to Main Hall? (i know they will have hand stamp before people make that point again).
-
I agree with Logan. Vt's should be available for all guests in the same Hall. Would make things a whole lot easier. I'm fine with SL being in a seperate hall, great idea, but why not hand out the Vt's in the main hall, and people can choose when they go across to get his auto. I'm going to have to queue for SL, knowing full well that i have no intention of getting him straight away, and will be running back across to another hall to get another half dozen Vt's. I think it needs seriously looking at to avoid a lot of disappointed people who miss other guests due to queuing for one main guest.
-
Apologies if this has been answered, but has confirmation been made about those who queue for Stan Lee VT's, how they go about the queue up when trying to get into the main guest hall? Quite a few, inc me had concerns about having to join at the back and end up with high VT's for their big guests. TooTall was going to find out a few days back, but can not see a response.
-
I agree with the last two posts. Hopefully we can get some clarification on what happens to Earlybird people once the get their Stan Lee VTs. I have several other big guests to get, and would prefer not to have VTs in the high hundreds because of re queuing. If thats the case, EB ticket for me on Sunday becomes non useful, and I may as well gone standard entry and take my chances that way.
