  1. you never know as its been this way since 2005, so might be more to it, but yer you would think he would. and RTD before him. be the ones who have final say I could not see Murray having that much stroke. If the BBC received 1000's of complaints about the music then it would fall at the door of Moffatt as he is Boss.
  2. One point regarding the music, Moffatt would have final decisions as he is Boss.
  3. excellent? thats a positively strong word, really? where do you rank it with the rest of TW? hated that twist, saw it coming much like the alonsey in voyage of the damned and in my head was screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO with a few swear words also lol I liked it because it showed that Torchwood was truly everywhere. Jack has said this before and it adds to the mythos of the back story. I felt the season grew bit by bit and showed that things can change very quickly. Some may not accept that things can change so quickly, but look at events around the world today. Look at the Middle East and how things that may not have been obvious to the eye, were actually there. Look at the story and you will see this. Miracle Day was the catalyst to the resulting events. As regards how I see it in the TW back catalogue, the fact it was a complete story like COE was, it rates up there with my favourites.
  4. When someone has nothing to hide, then it makes them a target for someone who may not like them. There had been no hint of a story coming out about Speedo, but come his passing the bogus rumour mill started. People need to leave the guy to rest in peace and his family/friends to mourn. I find it troubling that the social networks have been abuzz with "rumours". Sad. Very Sad that some people in this world get off on making stuff up about someone's private life after they have died in order to get a story out of it. People may attack the press for printing these stories - it is the business they are in - but what about the people that approach the papers with these stories? Sick. Very sick. Rest In Peace Speedo.
  5. Every year the Prem has a team or a few teams who make a strogn showing early on. This year Newcastle were that team. Well, I guess the "natural order" is being restored going into New Year. Tonight's game between Man City and Chelsea will also serve to mould the run in to the title.
  6. Just healthy exchanges of views on Twitter...abuse? Perish the thought...even to a certain Spurs fan
  7. Blooming heck Tony..haven't seen you on here for ages....
  8. There is no point in speculating about stories on the grapevine. Gary Speed was a consumate professional and his death is a shock. Until the Police have established what has happened, then I think any rumours should be ignored. I know it is natural to listen to rumours in circumstances like this, but sometimes you just have to say "enough is enough". If Speedo had demons that lead to his death, then I hope he is at peace now. I hope his family and friends find the support they need. It is also nice to see genuine affection for him rather than "by the numbers" good wishes. Rest In Peace Gary...a footballing legend.
  9. I understand where you are coming from. I truly do. But the poster I was commenting on was a tad abrupt in their posting. This is an extra photo shoot that ME/SM have managed to sort out. From a business point of view I would consider including the group shot in the ticket price before anyone had agreed a bad move. As is evident, guests can and do cancel. What if a new guest was a more expensive guest to have attend? WHo eats the cost of that? What if the new guest does not want to do a group shot? When a guest signs up for an event, as has been mentioned numerous times by Jason, they agree to certain things. What would happen if Jason & Co went and asked them to do another photo shoot weeks or months after the initial contract was signed? You may probably find them wanting more money. After all, this is work to them. The logistics of setting up a group shot is more than likely a nightmare. Although I do understand where you are coming from, I still think that this is a great offer to anyone attending the event. It is a shame that some will not be able to factor in to the budget, but that is the nature of the beast of what we do...go to signing events and conventions.
  10. A great offer, and taking into account the cost and logistics of sorting this out, I cannot see why some people find it unreasonable. As has been explained before, arranging group shots is never as easy as some people have commmented elsewhere. As regards the price rise in tickets, unfortunately costs go up in any business and thus ticket prices will go up as will any product or service. What it comes down to is that we all have a choice to attend events. Buy certain types of tickets. And maybe buy special photo shoots that are arranged at the last minute. I have some wonderful convention group shots that I had no problem paying for as they are unlikely to be repeated in the same line up.
  11. lol, nice one! We did well yesterday, looking forward to the carling cup game next week! I am hoping that Kenny plays a stronger team than he has hinted at. The Carling Cup would be a great mid seaosn boost to push for Top 4.
  12. Dear Chelsea.... Thankyou once again for three points. Not bad haul in the past 12 months. £65 million for Mereleis and Torres, plus 9 Premier League points. I look forward to the Anfield game. Yours sincerely A Liverpool Fan
  13. You have great taste. Was gutted not to be able to get to the recent event featuring Robert.
  14. Because they are meanlingless and not involved in competition. Think of it...your star player for a major tournament is banned for three games. I know, lets arrange three friendlies and that cleans the slate.
  15. I don't know. Rooney has not been hard done by. He straight up kicked a player from behind. Not a tackle! Rooney needs to grow up and use the talent he has.
  16. I think the reason they are appealing is that the punishment seemed a little harsh. Everyone expected him to be banned for one game, but he's been banned for three. The thing is, it wasn't a tackle. He kicked him! A straight red. This is not the first time as well. I would prefer he not be there for the first three games and we qualify. He is still immature on the pitch at times he needs to lead the line. I didn't expect him to get a one match ban as a straight red is 3 matches.
  17. The stupid FA have decided to appeal the unappeablable. Wayne Rooney kicked someone. Let him take the ban like a man.
  18. I will have a look back to where I read it. As soon as I find it I will message here.
  19. When I met him several years back he was a top bloke. Really nice. Posed for a photo.
  20. Now all we want to no now is when the tickects are avalible They already are
