First off, I would pay the extra for the right person. I do think the approach the guest, get a £ figure, and then pre-sell the autographs (say at 7pm on thursday, for example) is a very good idea. It will let the guest know how many autos they are signing, that they arent going to be mobbed, and it will be easier on the fans who wont have to queue up from 2am the previous day!!! Youve got to make it really attractive for bigger guests, because, to be honest, I can see BIGGER peeps seeing "selling autographs" as being a real cheap, sleazy move. I bet its not the done thing!!! If it was for charity, and the press were there and all that game, different story. Also, youve got to consider security. Would you mind being searched before entering a, I presume, closed off section? Would you feel intimidated by having 2 huge geezers standing either side of you, in front of say JD or HF? I would not mind in the slightest, personally. It cant hurt to ask.

I love Robert!!!!!!!! The BEST guest ever. If he was an a***hole, like some I could mention, I would not have met him 6 times and gotten untold amounts of stuff signed. Ive spent quite a bit on that man!!!!!!! But, Id hate to see him over new guests. Dont get me wrong, hes always welcome, but new guests are what we are really after.

What a load of s***. I had a great time at CML, not the best, admittedly, but a great time. Ive never gone away from an SM event thinking "What a waste of time!!" and that includes driving 2 hours SOLELY for 1 auto from George Romero!!! A look round the dealers and a McDs, and I was quite happy! The best feeling, from a show anyway (!) I got was driving away from LFCC 08 was it? John Landis, Tom Savini and Brad Dourif etc. Some people will NEVER get events like this. EVER. And no matter what you do, you will never convince them otherwise. I love them, SM or otherwise, and spend half my time planning the next one. If it wasnt for shows like this, I would NEVER have met the people from the films that I love. Or got the stuff signed that I have. Im looking at some of it now with a tear in my eye and a lump in my trouser!!! I must admit, im glad im a horror fan, because eventually you will get 90% of people do a show. My deepest sympathies do go out to SW fans, pulling their hair out because they only need George Lucas and Harrison Ford to complete their New Hope Quad. So, who lost their camera? Somebody did, because I found it! It was a fairly big thing, I switched it on and the only photo I recognised was someone with Doug Bradley. A fairly tall, big bloke with light brown hair and glasses. I went through some of the photos and it looks like a wedding before. I found it right at the end of the day, about 5:15 to 5:30 today? I handed it into the Crew who were looking after the Rob Englund line. So, if its yours, go and get it, or contact SM, who im sure will help you out. Id like to think someone would do the same for me.
