  1. Yeah, that tutorial says it works for faux leather and the end result is pretty clean so I'd say try it. Nice find, laurab1
  2. Very impressed by all the tattoos on here
  3. That'll depend on what the shoes are made out of-what kind of shoe are they? :)
  4. Wow-thanks to everyone for replying, you all have some amazing tattoos! Like I said earlier, I'll post next week about sorting out interviews at the show; I think we might make an entire video just dedicated to attendee tattoos because there's so many great ones
  5. no problem. I do have an idea if your friend and yourself do choose me to interview, which is as well as an interview is to film me showing brooke the tattoo at her autograph table and her signing it That would be really cool! I think he was planning to film me seeing Pedro Pascal, so I'm sure he'd be up for this!
  6. Thanks for all the replies! I'm going to sort something out with my friend this week (he just bought a puppy so his mind isn't really focused on work haha) so I'll be posting info on where/when we can meet soon
  7. You already got Pedro Pascal so there's really no more I could ask for Looking forward to the announcements though...and LFCC itself, obviously!
  8. Sounds like fun. Just a normal weekend then? An average cosplay weekend, definitely!
  9. I'm itching to get home and work on my Daenerys stuff but I don't move out of Uni for another two weeks...blargh. But once I get back, expect lots of photos of me crying as I accidentally dye things the wrong colour and set my wigs on fire.
  10. Pedro Pascal, Gethin Anthony, Finn Jones, David Wenham and possibly Lena Headey if funds allow
  11. Half-styled my Daenerys wig! (Lace front needs altering and the braids need to be neatened a little!)
  12. OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH AAAAAAAA!! I know I've been pestering a bit on the forums and I just want to say thank you so much!!!!
  13. Yeah I'd e-mail Showmasters about this, if it's a full-sized Dalek! They have places to store bags etc but you'll need somewhere larger- I'm sure they'll be able to help you out if you email :)
  14. Haha I didn't think anyone else'd want Pedro Pascal but I'm glad to see I'm not the only Oberyn fan! (Looking forward to tonight's ep woo) Just a couple more suggestions: -Lachlan Nieboer (Torchwood, Downton Abbey) -Aidan Turner (The Hobbit, Being Human) -Richard E Grant (Doctor Who, Withnail and I) -Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones)
  15. Has anyone ever had any experience using them? I just had a couple of beginner questions: 1) How close should I cut to my forehead? 2) Will I need foundation to cover up the lace? I don't know how obvious it'll look! Also if anyone has any general tips/info, I'd be very grateful! Thank you
  16. Cosplay whatever you want, regardless of your size, height, race etc! At the end of the day we're all just fans in costumes, we have no right to judge one another. I'm sure you'll look amazing whatever you wear!
  17. Not heard of a lacefront wig before... Oh, here is my jacket...sleeves basted in. I still need to add facing and lining then do the buttons and hem. Lacefronts basically have a lace front (as the name suggests ) that you cut and then attach to your head to give you a more natural/realistic looking hairline. The one I bought is this one from Arda Wigs: http://arda-wigs.com/products/matilda And your jacket's looking awesome!
  18. Love seeing everyone's progress photos-I'm hoping to take some once I've finished Uni and can actually work on my costumes! Also, question, has anyone ever worked with lacefront wigs before? My Daenerys wig is a lacefront and I've never used one before!
  19. You-I like you! It'd be wonderful if they could shed some light with what's happening with season 5/the possible movie!
  20. SM's done an awesome job at getting Game of Thrones guests, but it seriously would make me jump up and down if they could also get Pedro Pascal. Apart from him, it'd be cool to see more Hobbit/LOTR guests to accompany David Wenham, and I'd kill for some Arrested Development guests but it's not that big of a show over here so I can maybe understand the reluctance. (Though most of its cast are well known outside of the show, like Will Arnett and Portia de Rossi!)
  21. Friday: Fem!Boromir (LOTR) Saturday: Daenerys (Game of Thrones) Sunday: Maeby Funke (Arrested Development)
  22. Yes please! He'd be a great guest!
