  1. Thanks Queen_Sindel - will definitely ask at the desk if it's not too busy; worst case I'll just have to *gasp* budget and make sure I leave enough cash for the end of the weekend :)
  2. Thanks for answering the payment questions :) In terms of the vouchers, I realise they can be used for any/all guests so they wouldn't issue refunds if you couldn't meet a specific person ... so basically what you're saying is that if it looks like it will be busy / there is a feasible risk of not being able to see guest X by the end of Sunday, it would be safer to reserve cash for that autograph, ie: don't purchase the vouchers in advance that case (otherwise might end up running around trying to find any remaining guests you hadn't already seen before they left to use them up ;P )
  3. Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere (did try to do a search but wasn't able to find the specific answer). Two questions regarding paying by card: 1. Can entry tickets (pay on the day, obviously) be purchased with credit/debit cards or are they cash payment only? 2. What happens to any unused autograph vouchers purchased on card? ie: if I purchase autograph vouchers with a credit/debit card, but was unable to get an autograph by the end of Sunday (eg: say I bought £45 worth of vouchers for David Tennant, but had a very high VT number and wasn't able to get an autograph by the end of the day) - would it be a case of taking the risk of not getting that money back, or is there a procedure in place for refunds? Again, apologies if it's been answered elsewhere and I've missed it - just trying to work out how much cash I need to bring along / how many vouchers to get if there's risk of not getting through queues in time.
  4. I believe last year EC's website also showed the London Running (?) show at the same venue and same date as CM:L - unless they were hidden away in a corner and their attendees were very well disguised, CM:L was definitely the only event on in that hall/on that weekend! Although it would be nice if the Earl's Court website also had the correct details (particularly for those driving/needing parking), unfortunately previous experience has shown this not to be the case; so the best reference in this case is the actual Collectormania website as David provided earlier.

  6. same issue; given an unlimited budget (and time!) would love to keep going to 2 a year, due to increasingly limited budget/resources ( ) would be more likely to be able to go to just one.

    Dedications

Similar to etmuse, the majority of mine were also best wishes, etc The exception was Tom Price who wrote "Yes the lid works!" -- this was in response to a completely random conversation I managed to start about whether Starbucks coffee mugs still work with the takeaway lids (ie: yes, they apparently do) o_O
  8. Moderators might be able to confirm, but would think you could just email them (info@showmasters ... something?) with the order number to let them know / provide your name? Assuming the ticket is for you / not for another person it hopefully shouldn't be too much hassle anyway ...? (ie: think the time problems arise is when tickets are purchased on behalf of others so need to explain why the ticket needs to be in a different name, etc)
  9. Registration is open on Saturday and Sunday as well From Hub 4 schedule: Sat: Registration 8am until 3:45pm Sun: Registration 8am until 6:30pm (not sure if the closing times are entirely correct since there wouldn't be much point registering 6pm Sunday for example, but it should be open from 8am if the past Hubs have been anything to go by at least ;P )
  10. If that's via Arriva Trains Wales, National Rail is still saying: Details still being finalised. so no answer for you yet, sorry

  12. re: advance fares Think TerraHawk may be right (ie: advance fares may have been released and have just all been bought now) - according to National Rail, London Midland and Virgin are both selling tickets to early/mid May already ...? http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/...g_horizons.html
  13. eeeeeee! :) thank you thank you thank you thank you :)

  16. regarding earlier comments, it was written before I saw DavidB's post (was too slow submitting obviously), but thanks for pointing it out Bev
  17. It's one thing to tell someone they're in the wrong (and report it to crew/mods as needed), it's another to continually berate them and make other snide comments about it in other topics (note: not necessarily you, have just seen other posts with this type of content, gave up looking at usernames eventually), when DavidB and TooTall's initial comments/replies basically said what was needed already - the latter is what is tending towards bullying. For the record, it doesn't come across to me as stirring; it's a valid observation/question to SM regarding what has been said in this thread.
  18. Did you attend CM London, Never? How is whether or not she attended relevant to her comments about the bullying on the forum?
  19. indeed you did o_O apologies, just ignore me now :\
  20. Also, John Rhys Davies, Robert Englund and Jason Momoa were Photoshoot B so that would have been Danielle; Shannon Doherty and Brian Krause were Photoshoot A so that would have been Malcolm (if you wanted to know exactly who took which )
  21. No, it's not overly good, particularly since they promised a confirmation would be sent when I called to book in the first place > Don't stress, just tell them the night(s) you've booked for and the name it's under, and they should be able to find it on the system for you :) If it helps I think you need to speak with in-house reservations(?) to sort it out (ie: press for that option when you call). good luck :)
  22. I booked around the same time and they also promised me a confirmation (by post and email); the money went out of my account but didn't receive anything for weeks, so called them - they checked & confirmed the rooms were booked and (eventually) sent me an email with basic details after I requested it (took them a couple of days to send after the phone call). ie: if the money was taken, then you probably are safe in terms of having a room booked, but if you want the confirmation you will probably have to call them as it doesn't look like they sent them out when requested the first time / at time of booking hope that helps :)
  23. I'd go up the Victoria line to Green Park, then change for the Piccadilly line to Earl's Court, then either walk or change at EC to District line branch to Kensington Olympia (depending on how cold/lazy I was feeling at the time ;P ) possibly not the fastest route, but the easiest can think of with the planned closures - hope that helps :)
  24. ok, will work on the assumption it's Saturday only then - thanks :)
  25. just noticed the Guest Prices/Days thread was updated and it says: Robert Llewellen £15 Both [under Autographs] Just wondering if somebody could confirm which is correct please ie: is he only there on Saturday or for both days? :)
