  10. Ben Foster Peter Capaldi Lucy Cohu Ben Loyd Holmes (bring him back!!) Matt Rippy (ditto!!!) Would be awesome!
  11. Ben at the Hub 4 would be awesome but probably unlikely, obviously all depending on TW4.....*write in!* Am sure there would be a lot more giggles...completely back the request to bring him back!!!!
  12. Agree completely, would be great to see him back to talk about TW 4 =P Write in!
  13. I thought the guests this year were fantastic, especially the newbies! Ben in particular was a sweetheart, very genuine and a lovely guy to talk to. Would love to see him back at the Hub 4. I agree with the strobe lighting issue people have raised on the thread so far - I do have a condition (not epilepsy, but does carry some of the same principles) that did mean the lighting might have been the trigger towards my blacking out on both Friday and Saturday night. Thankfully it didn't ruin any of the weekend for me and the friend I was with, we're both quite used to it by now! The Hilton hotel was rubbish compared to the Park Inn, I think. The staff's attitude in places was disgusting, and I felt it was awful that some attendees were pretty much sneered at by both Hilton staff and guests. Our bathroom flooded on the Saturday morning, they said it'd be sorted out that day, but Sunday morning was exactly the same. And very overpriced at the bar too! Panels, organisation and everything else - wise, the convention was a great success in my opinion - well done to all the crew, you guys are awesome!
  14. Murray Gold would be fantastic, that's from a totally selfish point of view because I'm doing Music Composition at A level =) Bring back Gareth!!
  15. Tom Price is legend. Bring him back!
  16. You can always get a standard and then pay extra for a photo with John and any other person you want a photo with. Not like you have to miss out, and then you'd have more money in the long run to bid on intimate encounters and such
  17. Ours was the possibility of the musical episode of Torchwood, and my friend was the one who was stalking Kai at the Queen concert =) Good taste, that man has
  18. Thinking of more: Crossing the Barrowman line, driving round the world and crossing it again Burn and Gareth's panel Where Gareth went to the toilet and took the mic with him Kai getting John tattooed on his back 4 legged Johnkeys Tom's story about doing stand up and getting pelted with velvet peas on Christmas day Kai falling off the chair, obviously Kai making the Sunday chair squeak My friend and I asking Gareth where his hat was on Sunday morning, he asked if we'd like him to wear it in the talks that afternoon and he did (I have a straaaaaaaange hat obsession) SACK PAUL SACK PAUL SACK PAUL SACK BALL SACK BALL SACK BALL SACK Gareth's impression of Roderic's most fitting tattoo The rugby Drunky and Grumpy The freak show Burn's photoshoot Rippy's Trippy Nippy Finding out JB was attending Hub 3 Gareth singing Saturday night Gemma taking Gareth's whiskey on stage for him Lisa? Burn: Owen and Tosh would have made a good pair if Owen wasn't so.... Gareth: Dead. The jokes - bear/rabbit one. Such a fantastic weekend.
  19. Kai: PAUL!!! Made me giggle The Saturday night party was fantastic, as was Randy, as was all the panels... Just the whole thing. The Matt Rippy sandwich and him telling us it was like a dream he had once had :)
  20. Nah I don't think you did. Just the sound of Roderic's chewing gum.
  21. I felt like i missed out last time so that's why I went hell for leather for one, my friend got Matt for £20 it is fun probably less fun then panels (I heard I missed the ONE kiss of the weekend ) but saying that Kai's gonna share retcon with me Oh Lauren, I just gave death glares to little girl as I strained my ears forward. I don't know which would actually be better, the encounters or the panels! Depends who's in the panel, I suppose, I almost zoned out of Matt and Roderic's one - couldn't stop focusing on the chewing noise *shudders*
  22. I paid £40 on Kai's for Saturday but I think Sunday may have been only £10 as that was my bid which was the lowest of the top 12. (don't know if I won or not as I was at the panel.) Yeah, I know some of them weren't exactly expensive but you never know...so I still liked the idea of a raffle. The panels were great though so didn't exactly feel like I was deprived haha
  23. This was my first convention, and I loved every minute. Was much friendlier than I had anticipated, and I thought all of the guests were lovely, especially Burn, who I had almost expected to race through autographs and pictures, but actually took some time to talk to us about Oliver and the fact he has a "very strong right hand" I had a silver ticket and thought it was a great value for money, I only ended up buying a few extra photos and one extra autograph for a friend, so my bank accounts a little less empty than I had thought! I do agree with what most people have said on here about others hogging the guests, I think it's lovely that they had even decided to go to the parties so they should have been given a little more space. Thought the idea of raffling off Guest Encounters was fantastic, I'm pretty much broke so my hopes of winning a bid weren't exactly high, and though I didn't win one of the raffles I thought it gave everyone a fairer chance. Have bought my ticket for the Hub 3 - think it will be fantastic! Let's just see how far we can get past the Barrowman line
