I had the opportunity, at Collectormania, to tell Gavin (JB's manager) that fans (well me in this case, I can unfortunately only speak for myself, but am assuming others agree with my sentiment) would like John back at the Hub and I got the 'work committments' excuse which was nothing I didn't expect considering everything he wants to do (TW S4 etc) , I also said I was going either way here's hoping John's work committments let him make it (and there's always the October date too )

Writers panel sounds like a great idea! Also make up or prop makers (as someone mentioned above), their creativity adds to Torchwood - the people who make the masks, invent the Bekaran scanner and Singularity scalpel... Aiming really high - what about a director to go with the writer? That could be really in depth - did the director put it on screen how the writer imagined it?

Hi, another German here (though I reside in the UK)... would love to meet up, I don't get to speak German much in everyday life. The last two Hubs I've met some Germans, but so far it's been more informal, usually lunch or something or talking in the queues. I know that my friend from Germany will also be there. So, what about making it Saturday or Sunday lunch if people want? You'll be able to identify me by my badge (I'll have a label on it with hab318princess and JB/GDL kissing ).

I'm terribly sad, was looking forward to seeing John again... but when we booked the tickets and it's always on the website 'subject to work committments', so John is now doing La Cage and has therefore work commitments. On the other hand we still have a con with 11 guests - from James Marsters to Gareth to Daniela Denby Ashe and the list goes on! How do people think they feel when the attitude is that John's the only one that matters? It's a Torchwood convention - we had fun at Hub2 without JB, didn't we? to quote John in his autobiography: if life gives you lemons, put them in Vodka Tonic!
