  1. i started a thread for Peter Cullen but there was minimal interest at best for the voice of Optimus Prime to attend which is abit gutting really. such a legend that man is! or his voice at least
  2. Oh that's wonderful photography if I do say so myself!! I was sat with Harry when you came over the get your picture signed, good job you came back for it! Your photos are great glad you had a good weekend my god yes! as if i forgot my picture. oops. i only got it cos i felt rude asking Harry for a picture otherwise! he seemed really sound though, but looked a little overwhelmed by it all. Nice meeting you also He was a really nice guy, we had a very lengthy discussion about dumbledore, the last chapter of DH and what happened to the Dursleys! It was nice meeting you too, glad you and your girlfriend enjoyed the weekend. i know pretty much most of what happens at the end of that because my girlfriend spoilt it for me! how rude! oh well i dragged her back and forth around earls court as punishment!

  4. Whos attending then? I think it must be a definate as the hotels are cheaper. the beer must be cheaper. and theres more heroes guests. sweet deal really.
  5. she wrote her number on the back of her pic with me
  6. to be honest i got to speak more with hayden in the photoshoot than i did at her signing. she was lovely. always smiling and giggling. jack coleman was such a gentleman and a pleasure to talk to. i didnt realise how tall he was though til the photoshoot! milo was tired as is understandable but he still seemed happy enough to sign for the people waiting. adrian looked abit miffed cos some guy before mustve bought like 30 autos probably just to sell on. so we joked about it abit. then i commented on his fruit. oh and his suit. seemed to cheer him up abit which can only be a good thing. i had been wanting to meet these people all weekend so i wasnt going to moan at the situation whatever the outcome. said thanks and take care as i always do and they said same back so they were still definately polite. a total pleasure. was gutted my poster looks abit rubbish compared to some of the pictures/prints/posters people had found elsewhere to get signed
  7. Iv not seen it either! Cant be doing with another show! i know what you mean. those were my thoughts exactly when my friends first told me about it...but i couldnt resist. and here we are...another poster has been started to get signed
  8. sounds like i had a better experience than a few people. firslty with jack coleman the photographer had a play around with his camera, though i did feel slightly gay as we i had my arm round him still at this point haha! he remembered me as well which was nice. hayden was lovely and put her arm round me...i almost ended up with my hand on her...err...lovely little... well you know but not quite! milo said "hey" and asked how i was doing and i asked him back then i complimented adrian on his suit and he turned his head to talk to me but the photographer rushed us to pose so he said to me after bout his suit. all in all the guests were very nice and cheery with me. all of them put arms around me too. must be cos im so small and 'cute' as my girlfriend says...grr
  9. go to hmv and buy the first episode for £2.99 today then. gives you chance to see it and if you dont like it you havent wasted loads on a box set
  10. have you seen it before? the ending is awesome.
  11. ...I think I'll watch Heroes all over again Starting today.
  12. Working 9 hours straight and then deciding to drive down to London from North Wales right after your shift is neither big or clever to do children let me tell you that! Me and my girlfriend had everything packed and set off around about half 6 on the Friday evening and followed the delightful voice of my Tomtom all the way into Hammersmith to stay at a rather overly priced Novotel London West. They must've thought I was a tramp coming in off the street in my rather large baggy jeans (which I only wore for comfort matters...obviously) 7:30am. Saturday 1st September. "WAKE UP WAKE UP I'VE GOT TO GO HAVE A PHOTO WITH THAT GUY FROM KING ARTHUR!..." to which my girlfriend replied by chucking pillows at me as I bounded off to the shower with excitement. After getting lost rather embarassingly trying to work out which end of the tube station we had to exit through we FINALLY arrived at Earls Court 1 at around about 10:45am. Strolled in after finding a door that wasn't locked. Had our hands stamped and in we walked. Well as far as the escalator that was...up we went. At the top. Who turned out the lights? I thought we went up stairs not down into a basement. It felt like some sort of secret underground convention the way it was so poorly lit. I have bad eyesight at the best of times but this lighting made it really hard for me to see dealers tables, guests, until I had to get direct in front of them. Anyways straight to the Organisers 'booth' to pick up the Gold Pass which I have now had in consecutive years due to it first of all being worth the money and the time saving aspect. But alas. All I got was a pack of Star Wars autographs that were so insignificant I to be honest felt robbed of my money. Especially with it being 30 Years I thought it might have been worth getting but obviously I was wrong. It will take some sort of addition to the Gold Pass feature for me to buy it again next year I think. Anyways I shrugged that off and walked around...rubbed up against the Bumblebee car for a moment. How sexy it looked Carried on walking in this direction...or was it that direction? Anyways we plodded around all day and mainly saw Harry Potter people for my girlfriend that day. We saw all the 'smaller' guests on the Saturday because I knew what was in store on the Sunday with Heroes and Stewart arriving. I must say the lack of advertising for people leaving early made me miss out on a Mads auto but I got the photo shoot with him nonetheless and he was a proper gentleman. We started talking about suits until the photographer shouted as us to 'strike a pose'. Hats off to the Harry Potter guests AND the amazing Billy West. I was astonished as to how much his voice actually sounded like Doug from the cartoon series. Absolute pleasure to talk to and he stated he wanted to come back here much more often so SM, you know what to do..Also Harry Melling and Devon Murray were great with the fans and made my girlfriends first time experience a delightful one. The one guest that I really was excited about was Gary Kurtz...but all I can say is "How rude!". Ignored me whilst I stood there for ages playing around with his PDA then just sort of grunted at me and then looked like he wanted to die whilst posing for a photograph with me. Oh well the others more than made up for that experience. The SFX guys were brilliant. They have restored my faith in their magazine and I signed up with no hesitation at all. The story of Jack Sparrow in the front seat on the motorway was hilarious! Finally on the Saturday we had gathered all the Lord of the Rings posters back from the hotel room and thought we'll finish off by meeting Dom Monaghan. My girlfriend has the biggest crush on him ever (Don't worry I got her back by having Hayden's arm around me in the photoshoot) Apparently he had gone for a 10 minute break so we joined the queue and paid £80 between us to get stuff signed. Waited. Waited. Waited. Oh hang on. "Dom has left the building and isnt coming back...". Not something I wanted to hear at all. I felt really sorry for the people that couldn't make it back the day after more than anything. That kind of ended the day on a dull note for us so we went back to the hotel and waited for Sunday. One word springs to mind for the Sunday. Pandemonium. And lots of it. Heroesmania has well and truly hit the UK as this weekend proved! Sunday went by much quicker as it involved alot of running back and to for photoshoots with various people. The Heroes cast were absolutely awesome though. Jack Coleman being the nicest and remembered me after getting my autograph when going into the photoshoot which is always nice. He was bludy tall though. My girlfriend said I looked like a real hobbit stood next to him. All I can say was my girlfriend was absolutely gutted when meeting Dominic. He basically just ignored her and was chatting away to Hayden sat next to him. I think this truly put a damper on her experience but we cant win them all I guess. The mass hysteria that surrounded Heroes though was so overwhelming. The Gold Pass actually came in more handy than ever when wanting to meet these guys as well as Patrick Stewart. Who did acknowledge me, spoke, smiled and joked about the Mr Frakes picture someone before me had signed. It seemed I had a better experience than some other people I have heard of on here... Andie Tong was a legend as ever. And was more busy than any artist there so I don't see why he isnt at more of these events. A true gentleman and popular guest! Finally the photoshoot with Milo and Adrian. Pure legends. Managed to have another quick conversation with Adrian about his flashy suit too which made me chuckle. But what on earth was with the plate of fruit? Made me laugh too. Milo told me he was tired but I could tell he didn't want to disappoint the numerous fans behind me waiting to meet him. All in all a mixed bag really this weekend was. The highest highs really did outweigh the lowest lows I feel but then I guess it would be nice if we didnt have any lows at all but then someone is always going to have something to moan about I guess. Top guests over the weekend would have to include; Jack Coleman, Billy West, Devon Murray, Harry Melling, Andie Tong & Mads Mikkelsen I wont say worst guests but moreso disappointing would be; Gary Kurtz & Dominic Monaghan Random goodness would be Hayden Panettiere putting her arms around me but shh if my girlfriend asks I didnt tell you that. Also the amount of free stuff that the SFX guys were throwing at me was awesome! Thought I had hit the jackpot! And as I said earlier Heroesmania has hit us. Bring on MK. Hopefully better crowd control this time though and hopefully we can have alot more happy people at these awesome events! SM again has not failed to impress us and I hope they carry on to do so for a long time coming Blog over. End.

  18. What about his sunday photo shoot???
  19. Wow! Big thank you to everyone with these links. problem im facing is if i ordered one now i doubt it would arrive before friday. Therefore it looks like im leaving all my hope in one basket and im going to have to go on a hunt around the dealer tables.
  20. if the first one didnt have the goblet of fire on it would be perfect! as the image is awesome! however the 4 crests poster is very interesting and very neutral in terms of the cast. dilemma
  21. Its my girlfriends birthday coming up in October. Ive decided to get her the Evenstar necklace from LOTR and im thinking of starting to get a Harry Potter poster signed in London for her. Its her first time going to an event with me but i thought its her favourite set of books/films and why not start getting one dedicated to her? Trouble is im having trouble deciding which poster to actually use. Its basically because every poster out there seems to have the film title pasted on it somewhere but we all know not every actor/actress appears in each movie so...any ideas or thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated. i know im leaving it late but i can always browse the stalls in there and see out of any ideas generated which would be best to get
  22. Andie! you rule! loved your artwork last time i was there. im just gutted my sketch book is full now from college so cant get you to draw something in there. would you be willing to draw people if they sat down for you? wouldnt mind myself in comic form with some sort of Heroes power
  23. Colossus was so underused in the movies i would well want to meet him
  24. My photo tickets arrived today! Well...3 out of the 4 Bring on London baby! Really should book the train hotel holidays etc etc So last minute im terrible
