I think what I'll do this time around is observe the cosplay pros in action, and then go from there... still coming in costume though, 'cos I like it.

Did you make any of it? I didn't, but I'm thinking of entering doing a skit, rather than having the costume judged... still not entirely au fait with the rules, so do bear with me.

Going to give this a shot, it will be my first time but should be good for a laugh... I shall go off in search of tips etc for a skit. Looking forward to it!

I'm going to attempt to cosplay in a masquerade at a con for the first time. I've cosplayed at parties before, and once at a con (CM Midlands) for a larf. In honour of Keeley Hawes... I will be bringing my "ultimate alpha male" to the event... the one and only DCI Gene Hunt. ...wish me luck.... Me as "The Guv" with Jack Walters and Michael Barber, cast members from Ashes to Ashes.

Ah, I was wondering about that too, thanks for clearing it up. I'm cosplaying for the first time as part of the aforementioned Demons group. Look out for the creature with the dodgy American accent guiding a glam, blind vampire/human hybrid about the place...

I suppose asking for Philip Glenister would be a bit much, but yes... Christian Cooke, Holly Grainger or indeed the lovely Ms Tapper... would all be great.
