I managed to get 4 autographs, including that of Sean Bean, when I waited by the stage door after Macbeth. So it's not futile. And there's nothing wrong with hoping she might be there - I'd still be interested in seeing the play anyway, regardless of whether or not Jorja's there.

I've done the stage door thing once before, and it was amazing I'd love to meet Jorja...it'd be soooo cool! I'd really like to see her in something other than CSI. As much as I love CSI and Sara, I always feel bad for an actor if you're a fan of them just because of one thing!

Nah, don't hide, everyone's entitled to their opinion! I am a G/S shipper, and yes, for me a big part of my dislike for her is the way she around Grissom. I love Sara to bits, and in a way yes, she would be better off without Grissom. But I'm a Mulder/Scully fan too and I think they had a similar situation for a while - the guy is an idiot who is completely emotionally backward, while the girl is pining away. I think Sara should stick with him - as far as I can tell (I mean, Jorja's said it) I do think Sara's left the ball in Grissom's court now, and I think that's good for her. It's not all about the interferance with the GSR, though. There's just something about her that annoys me, heh. I can't pin point what, but I don't like her, but having the GSR element on top of that makes me really, REALLY resent her character!

GSR...by which I mean Gunshot Residue and nothing else, of course *G*

I don't know much about the West End etc. but it's a fairly small show, so I should expect that tickets should be fairly reasonably priced. We could probably find a cheap Travel Inn or something to stay in? Even if it is London, heh.

That'd be awesome We'd have to make sure she was actually there, though I'd still be interested in seeing the show, mind you.

I would, but I won't be there 'til the Saturday (I'm leaving home at something like 5am to get in time for the early bird opening, lol)! We're sure to bump into each other at some point, right?

Ooh yay! I've only seen half of season 1, but I'll be checking out season 2! I do know one big spoiler that I'm pretty disappointed about, but other than that it looks like it could be really good!

The production company that Jorja's involved with, Honeypot Productions, has a musical called 'Dear Bernard' that was around off-Broadway. Apparently, it should be coming to London in March...anyone think Jorja will be there (she's listed as a producer)? I'd love to go see it...

Oh! Of course - it's a locked post. I'll post it here, because it's only short. ~ Title: Empathy Rating: PG Pairing: Grissom/Sara Words: 248 (I know, stupidly short, but I couldn’t fit it into a drabble :-P) ~ When Sara has nightmares, Grissom cannot hear the screams of the victims in her head. He wakes, sometimes, to the sound of her own muffled cries. He never wakes her; he merely watches. He’s fascinated by the furrows in her forehead, each changing with every twitch of her eyebrows. Her skin glistens, covered in a sheen of cold sweat. Sometimes she speaks. Grissom can’t always make out what she says, but he hears names. Every now and again he’ll hear the name of the victim of their latest case. Sometimes he’ll hear her mutter ‘mom’ or ‘dad’ in a voice so small he barely believes it’s hers. He hates being able to differentiate between in which of her nightmares she is the witness and in which she is the victim. It is only when he hears his own name, barely audible, that he lightly takes her hand. He pushes her hair behind her ear and whispers “I’m here.†This always seems to calm her. Grissom wonders how many times she has called his name in her sleep, only to have nothing but an empty silence in reply and nothing but cold sheets beside her. Grissom decides that there is no use in dwelling on the past. He moves closer to her, resting his forehead against the nape of neck. Her breathing calms. He is here now and that is all that matters. Grissom closes his eyes and dreams of a time when Sara will stop hearing the screams. ~
