Yikes! The last bus from Braehead leaves before 6 pm on Sunday from what I can see and the idea of spending four+ hours in a bus station doesn't fill me with much glee, especially since any food there stops at 7 pm and my coach leaves around 10.30pm ::sighs:: Don't know the area at all so have no idea if there is anywhere near that is safe and nice-ish to spend the time whilst waiting for the coach back down south of the border. Thanks for the reply! Make have to re-think plans... There's Cineworld, the world's tallest Cinema right across the road from Buchanan Bus Station, so if you have to spend four hours at least you can go see a movie in between. Also, Bus Station is in City Centre so you can go to a Wetherspoons 5-10 min walk from Bus Station or any other pubs etc

Shame they usually do 2 Glasgow ones a year

Has the accent (an annoying one) ,which is why I said he isn't really Scottish, in the sense that he hasnt lived there since he was a child. Of course it still means he is Scottish as thats where he was born. More Buffy guests or anything like Heroes, Lost, Dollhouse etc How hard is it? a lot of them arent up to much. Glasgow always get a poor choice of guests, and one Whedonverse guest, let's aim for two. MICHELLE RYAN would be cool Elisabeth Sladen, Penelope Wilton etc New Doctor Who people or someone from Being Human. yeah get some home town boys!!!! Park, Barrowman, Boyd, Flannigan and Tennant and i'm sick of saying it but Grant Morrison and Mark Millar!!! I don't include Barrowman in it as he isn't really scottish, or I pretend he isn't. I've never liked the guy, he's always just annoyed me, hence why I hate Doctor Who when he's on it.

I agree I hate to sound cheeky but Glasgow hardly get anything at the best of times, Last year was busier than I thought, but a lot of my friends would only go if it were Heroes/Buffy/Lost/ people there. As its not always conveniant to get down south. At the moment I doubt I would go, and I know theres a few events beforehand but surely another guest annoucment soon. 4 months ago not long

Yeah, and this one you need to pay to go to, whereas Collectormania Milton Keynes you dont. and They have great guests. If no one decent (Hereos, Buffy, Bones, Angel, Lost, etc) is announced none of my mates will go, as Tony Head's the only person thats quite good so far. No offence to the Star Wars, Doctor Who peps that are attending

Well you may find it completely pointless as might the other two posted after you, which btw if ur talking about the organiser in which i think you are, then i must say at their events its cheaper and photo shoots arent that expensive. Fair enough YOU may think they are pointless but other people dont, if people are willing to pay money for photo shoots then they should have the choice, obv showmasters run things differently n thats fine. But by saying they are pointless is silly, most people prefer a photo than an auto, and a lot of guests Carrie fisher, Charisma Carpenter, werent posing for photos as they have bigs queues at least people who want a photo session know that they are more likely to have a pic taken when their is a photo session rather than worrying they may not as the guest may be too busy! but you are right with the sigining and not a convention so im not going to disagree fully with your reply!

Im hoping to go to all three big collectormania events this year, but im just wondering as ive never done one before. why do collectormania not do actual photo sessions like a lot of the other con/signing events do? As they could make a lot more money by doing so. A few of my friends wish to do these but they and myself rather have a photo than an auto with a guest as its a better remberance of the event than an auto, plus its nicer to have. Obv a lot of guests as i understand do pose for photos happily but u dont need 2 worry about, was i blinking? was i looking at the camera? was it blurry? could u take another one please? and others cant because of the busy queues and such! If anyone could answer my question then i'd be most grateful. as i really hope to get photos with ian solderman, Julie Benz, Maggie Grace and Alan Tudyk
